So now I don't know what to do. I've been dying for the 16 but over the weekend went to the dealer and got a ridiculously good deal offer on a blue 15 DCSB TRD-Offroad with the added skid plate and running boards. Keep jumping from one foot to the other if I should go pick it up. $5500 less than the sticker. I'm thinking even if the 16 comes out and gets 5 mpg more than the 15 and runs the same price (which I doubt they will budge on)... $5500 buys an awful lot of gas.. Which way should I go ??

Up4tacos Congrats on the ride! I am currently waiting for my 15 DCSB Pyrite Mica OR to arrive at a dealer in Dallas. Should be there tomorrow!!! I was going to wait for the 16s as well but after weighing the pros/cons of both I am going for a 15 as well.

I wonder when the '16 is out (or at least you can order it) if these kind of deals will still be available. Or if the '15 supply will be at a point Toyota figures "OK, we know we will sell all the '15s, don't need to discount anymore." I'm also stuck between a '15 and '16, but don't want to do anything until I see the real numbers and cost for a '16.

Honestly, that's why I went for the '15. Price was the driver. Second was the fact that it's the last year with the 4.0. I'm sure a whole new world of 4 liter accessories will eventually come forward as well. I'm hoping anyways.

Picked up my 2015 Sport last Thursday. I just checked into a motel after a 300 mile road trip. Truck performed fantastic. Ride is smooth, quiet, plenty of power and torque and the JBL is the best stereo in any vehicle I've ever owned. Much better than the Bose in my 2015 Canyon I got rid of. Now I remember why I missed my 2009 Tacoma so much. Glad I didn't wait for the 2016's. JMHO

Roost.......post up a pic of that bad boy. For those of us willing and able to jump on these end of the run 2015's, the ownership of this proven generation will more likely than not be quiet gratifying. For sure, when the 2016's hit the street we will get the good, bad and ugly skinny from our fellow TW brothers and sisters that pulled the trigger. Their experiences and perceptions will determine if a gen 3 is worth our consideration in the future.

I would love to post pictures of my new Blue Ribbon Metallic Sport. I have read the tutorial and can't make any sense out of it. The guy that wrote it assumes that us old guys already know how to do it. I wish there was a step by step, line by line thread so a dummy like me could figure it out. I never heard of Photobucket and I take my pictures with my Iphone. I'm sure it's easy for most of you guys, but I can't figure out how to do it.

Was that the OTD price? Even if not, it's still a good deal.

Any chance you could share the OTD price? I like hearing all these good deals on the last of the '15s.

Seems like it was about 33,000. I'm out of town on a mini vacation now. Can't remember for sure. Sticker was 35,000 plus.
