Got it, I just built a 2015 DC Sport TRD V6 auto with the JBL package on Toyota's page:

    $29,905 - DC V6 Auto 4WD
$5,985 - TRD Sport Extra Value Package with options - adds JBL Speakers + more
    -------
    $35,890

Their final page showed a price of $35,105, which is $785 cheaper so there may be some built in discount(s) that I missed. I also checked the dealer inventory via Toyota's page for my area and could only find 3 trucks that had those options. However, none of them were in my preferred color of magnetic gray metallic so at this point you would have to be relaxed on color options if you're looking for a deal. I agree with others that it's a steal if dealers are knocking $5500 off on the remaining '15s. To put it into perspective, I paid $29,409 out the door on my 2005 DC Sport TRD V6 auto. Technically, you could add $1,300 to that price as I financed it over 3 years. That said, I'm impressed if the OTD cost is only 10% higher than what I paid 10 years ago. Although, I'm uncertain if that's the norm across other manufactures for a 10 year period but either way it seems reasonable to me. It should be interesting to see what the '16s pricing will be and how much they are willing to budge on them if at all.

On a side note, my 2005 is the first of the redesigned model year for the Tacoma. I'm the original owner with almost 100K miles on it. I've had almost no issues other than a wheel bearing that had to be replaced on the drivers side and the frame recall which was just completed (took 6 months though). Otherwise, it has just been routine maintenance with tires, brakes, oil changes and a new battery. In short, I would have no reservations about grabbing a 2016 given my experience so far.

The allocations available on the 2015 PM Trd offroads (7594) are getting scarace.
Fewer than 20 remaining according the SE Toyota build site.

Headlights are too big...grill is too small. It's certainly no 2016...

Ha-ha...Oh yeah i love it! Captain, I was trying to wait out the 16 but finances dictated a rapid purchase.

You won't miss anything if you got the 2016, on the 2015 you'll miss out on having the outside temp, compass, and missing the clock since it says TACOMA in it's place which the 12'-13' Tacoma has

Haha. Yes agreed it is greater in some respects [tailgate lock, sunroof, better mpg's - damn this is becoming a hard argument to make]. But in the most important dept to me. . .uhmmm. . .no - at least not yet - LOOKS. Haven't been won over yet in the looks dept - I like everything buttaface! :anonymous: and those damn throw back chevy tail lights! It took a while for the 2012 facelift but I ended up loving it. Wondering if that's going to happen with the 3rd gen.

My '14 has compass / auto-dimming mirror and homelink stock and outside temp [ie weather on the nav screen - not the same I know!] I freakin love my '14. :headbang:

It's a good looking truck, and I can't fault you for it at all.

I've come a shaved hair from pulling the trigger on an available 2015 Limited DCSB in silver that had almost everything...but something held me back. I really want a long bed, I really want the better mileage engine, I want the new interior, and I wasn't the blue pearl metallic so I can build my "CaptainAmerictruck."

She will be glorious to behold.

Still, the waiting blows. It blows hard.

It's simply amazing how well these trucks maintain their value. I saw the same thing with the used 3 year old Tacoma's on CarMax. Anyone ever get a quote from them? I'm thinking this may be the way to go instead of trading mine in at the dealer given our local deal tried to short me last time I was there.

I was wondering if they did away with the long bed as it's not an option when you build a 2015 DC currently.

Gulf States area is very low on long beds. I think they sold. Shit-ton of DCSBs and ACs though.

Agreed, I only ever see the DC and AC short beds in my area.
