From factory it does not however I believe there's a mod to swap in a lighted switch from a Land Cruiser. I know I have seen a thread on something to that effect before.

Better than a lighted 4WD switch is an FJ cruiser J shift T case!

I just ordered T3 neo-wedge bulbs for my switches from autoillumination dot com. I want to change the color from green to blue/red. I think the colors will look better with all the blue/white/red of the 2014 dash panel and climate controls.

I ordered the "Japanese OEM" LEDs and also colored incandescents. I also ordered the silicone bulb covers in red and blue so I can try them on the factory bulbs. I'll report back on what works best.

Now if we could get the steering wheel changed from green...

Keep us updated on the success of those LED bulbs, if it works and looks good I'll be following suit.

I would settle for a lighted 4WD switch too. Did they not think we would need to see it at night? I know it's nit picking but come on Toyota.

Here are the new T3 neo-wedge bulbs.

    2 blue LED
    2 blue incandescent
    1 red Incandescant
    1 red LED
1 OEM green (green silicone cap)
Red and blue silicone caps in back

Here's one of the switches pulled. You twist a quarter turn with a small screw driver. The bulb pops out.
    7CF201B6-7168-4419-ADB3-801D47A54312.jpg

Now the bad news. The LEDs are mounted on a little plate that is a larger diameter than the bulb base. You can see this in the photo above. The diameter of the plate is too large to fit in the socket. I'm going to try shaving it with a Dremel. It's like .05mm too big. Soooo close. But not close enough.

As for the incandescents... in this photo the fog switch (top) is OEM green. The bottom two are the new incandescant blues. They are nearly indistinguishable from one another. Not worth swapping.

As for the fog switch... I reached up and there's a big plastic piece blocking access to the back of the switch. So I really had to reach far back and around the plastic piece to barely be able to reach the back of the switch. I couldn't get enough leverage on the back to pop it out. Nor could I get a grip to unplug it from the back. Any tips here?

I'll report back if I'm able to shave the LEDs to fit. I think led is key for a color change. The incandescents just don't cut it. Haven't yet tried the silicone caps. I gave up when I couldn't get the fog switch out.

Success. After sanding the edges I was able to fit the LEDs. They're very nice. Good match to the climate controls.

I was going to do the two lower switches blue and the fog red. But I broke one of the blues. Couldn't find access to the fog anyway. A project for another day.

    Musical bulbs, cont...

My ocd got the best of me. I wasn't liking having 3 switches with 3 different colors. I found a how-to on getting the fog switch out. I stuck a loop of monofilament around the top corners of the switch, pushed it in with a dental pick, and kinda pulled down and out at the same time. POP came the switch.

I moved the red led to the fog switch. And put blue silicone caps on the old OEM bulbs. I think we're done here.

Yes, need to swap over the bulb cover from your current one.

Which I did, but the cap suffered a slight damage in the process.

Apparently 90010-01062 is the correct part no. for the bulb w/green cap.
