Pulled my skid plates off last night so I could check out the scene before I go on a substantial road trip next week, and noticed this. Any ideas? Seems to be originating near the rear main or oil pan? I'm not losing oil regularly though.

Could be valve covers, could be rear seal. Only a high pressure spray off and drive it to find the exact spot.

Yeah I wiped it all down, and will now see if it builds up real bad now. Hoping for valve covers since they are relatively easy to do..

Do you do your own oil changes? If not, it could be from when they changed the oil filter and let the oil drip down through the filter oil catch. It'll run down onto the skid plate if the catch drain is not diverted somewhere during the oil change. Was there oil in the skid plate?

I do my own oil changes. But, I have to admit most times I don't catch all the residual oil filter oil dripping. But this appears to be a little central and further back the the oil filter location?

Also, after putting my AllPro bumper on, the skids have been off for a while since they aren't compatible. Haven't had skids on in about 3-4 months
