I asked this earlier in the thread. Glad to see someone did it! You'll have to show the inside, if you don't mind. Interesting the weight becomes a factor with more than two of them. Is it a perfect fit? Looks like there might be a bit of overhand on the far side?

Yeah, I think I remember you
(or maybe someone else) asking that question a while ago....
Okay so, this is the picture that I have that shows the overhang in the back ( it's been cropped out of a bigger picture, so please excuse the quality)20200610_060624.jpg

I don't have a picture of the inside of the lid, later on today I'll see how well the foam is holding on to the lid, I would hate to agitate it, so, no promises.
On both sides I used some oversized fender washers, something like 1 1/4" to 1 1/2", but on the outside I sandwiched a rubber gasket between the lid and a fender washer, and then used some silicone for good measure.

Created one for the Prinsu by modifying four angle brackets I bought from Tnutz.com. I first milled slots between the existing holes on one leg. Then used a counter sunk bit for the four other holes so I could mount using flat head screws. Background is the stock TNutz part with the final machined part in front. Idea was to thread webbing through the two slots to self lock like a buckle under tension.

Next step was to glue a piece of rubber to on the unslotted legs so the traction board would not wear against the metal bracket. Not forgetting the screws, I used a leather punch to create holes through the rubber for the screws. A little late, I decided two screws would be enough per bracket so in hindsight I did not need to counter sink all four holes.

Final installation, brackets facing towards each other and spaced so traction board sits on the rubber pads. Picture shows a strap of made from double sided Velcro with J hooks but I wasn’t confident the Velcro would last in long run so I later changed to a a pair of nylon cinch straps.

upload_2020-6-13_7-53-32.jpgI just strap mine down to my bed rack when I might need them. I keep them in the bed to avoid uv damage ( and theft ) when not off roading.

Easy method is get about 18” of stainless aircraft cable and crimp loops on each end. Then run It through the hand holds on the Maxtrax and around the nearest Prinsu bar and close loop with a padlock. Also use a strip of double sided velcro to secure the padlock so it doesn’t rattling against the paint

if you live near a West Marine store, they will have the cable, crimp ferrules and let you use their crimper In the store.

This is perfect for what I want to do. I have a bed cover tri- fold and wan to keep mine below the bed rail level so I can keep the bed cover closed. How did you mount those in the bed rails?

I like that as you could run a cable through the eye bolts I guess. Keeping honest people honest ..

Got my Maxtrax mounted! They fit perfectly on the bed rail and under the bed cover.

I used eye bolts and the t-slot nuts @Strand31p shared. Thanks for the suggestion!
