We hit up Mary Jane/Winter Park today. Punched day 8 on our IKON pass. It was -2 at 8 AM when we rolled in.

That, is why you add white raptor lights. Make your truck as visible as possible.

It’s an Altruiste Gulo Gulo (853 steel frame handmade in Canada) on Woven carbon wheels, full XT, BikeYoke dropper and Manitou Pro.

very nice! I have a Rocky Mountain Suzie Q. Love to ride in new snow. How do you like the Manitou? Been thinking about a suspension fork. I have a straight fork right now.

The Suzie Q is the one I was eyeing when I got my first one. Unfortunately, we don’t have many groomed trails around here, so I opted for a Trek Farley with larger tires. I got a Manitou on the Trek the second season, mostly to ease the pain in my neck from all the people walking on the trails and post holing before a freeze. When I got the Altruiste, it was a custom build so I put a Manitou on that one too. It works really well in the cold. You don’t need the long travel. Fatbiking is not very technical per say (less drops than mountain biking).

    Fisher HS plow.
Was hoping to post mine with plow on, preplowing, always a good look, but the big NE storm was rain on mid Coast Maine. Hoping for a few cold ones to freeze the 1/2 mile of dirt as plowing on a muddy road isn't fun. There will be a pic. And maybe one with an iceboat in tow.

Just added toolbox and roof-rack to haul my fishing boat 100's of miles into the backwoods every week. Goodrich K02s, Bilstein 5100 front and back, no lift.
A few days ago, a lot of fun.

Also city driving in the snow here every day, 10 inches fell in the last 2 days, and 4 more inches coming today, snowing right now.

Driving 50 miles per day in that transporting my wife to and from work. High temps this week are -17c which makes it a lot easier to drive in than that slippery stuff when it is near freezing mark.

Right now counting toolbox, spare and sand bags I have 600 pounds in the back for extra traction. Need it big time on the ice rink roads in town. Have brand new Nokian LTR 265 75 16 mounted and still sliding all over. These Tacos not as good as a full size truck in the snow. Miss my old Fords for the snow.

Fun night snow wheeling around town early in the morning while everyone was at home sleeping. Snowed all night leaving over a foot of snow.
