Yet another vote for SCS F5 wheels. Brilliant customer service and the wheels are even more amazing in person. Happy with the purchase.

Thanks Mark, appreciate that. It's getting there man. Trying to research, read the forum and actually install something takes time. Next up: suspension.

SCS has the finest Tacoma wheels I've seen, any model they have, but the F5s have that rugged, simple look just like our 1st gens.

They look large for sure, but they are 265/75/16s BFG KOs.

They are 4.5 back space and they pop out slightly giving an illusion of a larger tire. Looked larger to me as well.

I quoted the wrong message above. This truck is sick and I wouldn't change a thing.

So I have fender flares as well and unlike allot of folks really like the color matched look. With that backspacing do your f5's line up even or stick out a little? Thanks

Great question. Here is a shot of another 1st Gen with 4.5 BS. I researched the hell out of these wheels and found this pic (and others) that really depicted the new stance. Here you go with 4.5 head on and 3/4 shot. Not my truck but ironically a 2004 TRD, like mine, and I believe it was Vin's personal truck at SCS.

Wow. Perfect! Thanks for that info. That and rubbing with my OME lift were the only questions I still had while researching SCS wheels.

You bet. Head over to SCS online or give Vin a PM over in the Wheels Forum. He's awesome and can talk you through what you might need. Great service and good luck!
