Nice wheels all around! Wondering if someone can help my covid brain sort out the path toward having the tires stick out 1-2 inches from the body. 2003 Xtra TRD, OME basic lift kit. My offroading is light, mostly fire roads, sometimes with water. I believe my stock wheels are 7" wide, 15mm offset, 4.6" back spacing.

I would like to run 16 x 8, probably 70r235 tires. I tend to like the PC 7069, MT Classic II or soft 8 type wheels. The 7069 has 4" back space, -12mm offset, for example. The FN Five Star has 3.52" backspace and -25mm offset.

i understand how offset, backspacing, and a change in width work independently to affect this. My problem is trying to visualize the differences, accommodating the change in width. Any thoughts or pics of your setup from the front or top?

I know- boring- keep in mind if you use these, you’ll need spacers. I used Spidertrax.

I believe they are off of a 2020 4Runner. Have a super cool hook up at Toyota. Cost me a bottle of fancy Gin. Was a little desperate to get me through the winter. I think they look nice and the offset was almost perfect. Needed a small hammer to cure the rub. No lift and shot rear leafs. 265/70r17.

Here’s an old pic of mine. 15x8 -12B and some parts house 1/4” spacers.

Here is what happens on some dusty county roads after a light rain. Be warned.

I see my chrome wheels, I want to paint them black.

they weren’t taken care of by the PO and are badly pitted. 3B1DC373-0117-4F48-9958-BF92F547E749.jpg

I bought these 2nd generation wheels off Craigslist for $100 and spent a weekend refurbishing them with Dupli Color wheel paint. I haven't seen another set, I was skeptical that they were OE Toyota wheels until I saw the part number in the casting.

Went through several pages of this thread and didn't see a pic with these wheels. I must have missed it because I know I'm not the only one with these on. 2nd gen tacoma wheels with 25mm spacers.
