With South Carolina & Toyota Trucks logs inspired custom emblem.

Emblem is made from an old Toyota trucks emblem, an aluminum plate, & vinyl for durability in that locale.

If you wanna swap front ends I'll happily take your core support forward and then you'd have a 98 front end

Replaced chrome badges with Sockmonkey black badges, painted billet grill black, K&N cold air intake, my corner light turn signal circuit, Speedfreek traction bars, RAAMaudio BXT/Ensolite, Stereo: Kenwood KIV-701 USB/Bluetooth deck, 10" Pioneer shallow sub behind the rear seat, Infinity 6822cf 6x8 front and rear doors, Fosgate P400-2 (sub), US Acoustics USX-4065 (four main speakers)
Here is a mini review on this ebay 5 piece grill set (two headlights, two corner lights with black trim, and a black grill/surround). I hit 200K miles so I decided to give her a little TLC. Replaced the stock plastic/chrome grill (previous owner had installed a billet grill that I painted black) with a black grill/surround. I like the look of the vertical bars on the stock grill.

This is the 5 piece set https://www.ebay.com/itm/Toyota-200...Black-Headlight-Park-Light-5Pcs-/170668031919

I just wanted the black grill and corner lights with black trim, but this combo with the lights was about the same as buying the grill and corners separately.

    Grill:
Came well packed. The nine attachment points lined up very well. The grill came with the seven small clips already attached and they seemed to be almost as good as the OEM clips. The two large clips that it came with (attach to the plastic piece at the bottom of the headlights) didn't want to click into place. I got two large OEM clips from my local Toyota (OEM had a much larger "barb") and they clicked right in.
The only problem with the grill was the oval recessed area for the Toyota emblem was not big enough. I thought maybe the clip holes were not exactly where they needed to be so I broke those off the emblem and it still didn't want to go in all the way. I could get the top or bottom of the emblem to sit down in the oval, but not both at the same time. I took a Dremel tool to the bottom of the oval. Didn't have to remove much plastic and then the emblem fit right in. I used shoe-goo (black) to hold the emblem in place.
Overall I am happy with the grill. Only had it a week so hard to say about durability.

    Light housings:
Decent cut-off line, but splotchy. The pieces that swivel and attach to the truck had a lot of play in them and the housing would move a few mm if you pushed on it.

    Corner lights:
They slid right in. There is what looks like a glue or plastic weld line that goes around the perimeter of the lens that isn't straight (it meanders along), but they fit well and if you aren't looking at them from a foot away look good. The black trim on the corners is more of a gloss compared to the matte black of the grill, but they are a decent match.

EBay raptor mesh. Turned out decent enough. I had to relocate my winch solenoid to the firewall though to avoid cutting the grill.

That’s exactly what I want to do with mine! I appreciate you posting so I could see the vision first lol. Except my trucks a maroon color (not sure of the paint code) and idk how that would look. I may just repaint the black and polish the chrome real well. Is that off of an fj? Also would I be able to find any TOYOTA emblems like that but a little smaller?
