Tried searching, couldnt find much info on Tacoma specific mounting places for ARB or OBA/tank set ups.

I am looking for ARB compressor setups. I have a twin, that I want to mount in the passenger side engine bay. I will be mainly using it for airing up my tires, so I dont have the manifold kit yet. I do have the tire inflation kit. Also, something that I do want to do, is mount the compressor in the engine bay, and have a second quick connect in the bed to fill rear tires or use for other accessories back there.

    Post some pictures!

Google arb compressor mounting location tacoma world, this is how I found a spot to mount my twin arb. Another member had mounted his and posted pictures and I copied his idea.

Too poor to list anything interesting.
Looks like the point I'm at with several projects.

Where did you get that quick connect attachment?

I recently bought the Slee bracket that tucks it neat under the hood but don't have the manifold. To my understanding the manifold isn't necessary but haven't see anyone running without it (I won't be using my compressor for lockers). I may have to pick it up.

    What haven’t I changed?
ARB Twin with remote manifold installed with the Slee bracket. I used aftermarket stainless steel hose and fittings to plumb the manifold to the compressor because the Slee kit came with a piece of plastic tube. They have since replaced the plastic tube with a braided stainless hose like the short one that comes with the manifold (and even sent me one free as a replacement), but it's still 1/8" ID and I'm lazy so I'm sticking with my aftermarket one.

I'd like to do this with a braided line but have quick connect where the manifold mounts instead. Need confirmation the manifold isn't needed...

Manifold isn't needed unless you're going to run air lockers, so you'll be fine if you just need the one quick disconnect to air up tires or to connect other air attachments like a small pneumatic impact driver.

The manifold is not needed even if running lockers. Just use a brass three way. Air in on one end, air out in the other and solenoid in third hole. No point in paying for the overpriced manifold from ARB(or their solenoids for that matter).
