    • 1994 Shadow Cruiser 7'
    • TorkLift frame-mounted tie downs
    • Timbrens holding up the stock suspension
    • 10-ply tires
Works pretty good, still figuring out the rhythm of camping with all of these conveniences like a propane fridge and furnace.

Intech luna. Dry weight under 1800lbs I towed this with a 2dr jk for 3 years before the tacoma.

Those dometics sip power, if I'm running off solar and battery that plus the fan on a lower setting I only use maybe 15-20ah over night. Early afternoon I'm back to 100% on the battery.

I bought this rig about 6 months before the Rona kicked off new around 14k. Now they are low to mid 20s so I did pretty good. All aluminum and fiberglass with no wood.

Yea I looked at these on their site. These are really a nice value considering what's out there. I've seen these swiss-army-knife looking things that are 10k more and 1/3 the size. I paid $5,000 for my little rig pre-covid and it's fine for now. Looked at other models recently in the $30-$35k range that were NOT 6 times the value of what I currently have. When the time comes to upgrade I hope they still have these available for a reasonable price, I like 'em.

Picked up our new Casita Spirit Deluxe last week. I don't have any scenic pictures yet as we've only spent one night in it to test some things out. So far we're enjoying it quite a bit.

Sweet setup. Those things last forever, do they still have carpet on the walls?

How did it tow - I assume you ran ECT and S4 ?

Yes they still have carpet on the walls. It doesn't bother me but I know if freaks some people out. I have the OTT tune so I just ran it normal mode and S4. It towed really well, especially with the Anderson no sway Weight distribution hitch.

Hope you enjoy it. The Tacoma can pull it fairly well just not with much authority.
I was at Mustang Island State Park, TX South Padre, rode out tropical storm Harold. Hopefully the surf will not be as heavy and more calm.
Again, hope you get out and use it looks nice. One thing I had to do after I picked up mine 12/22 was when they set up the Andersen I arrived with no weight in the bed ie: all the stuff your going to carry when RVing. after an initial trip I changed the ball height to a higher position. Made the trailer much more level. The tropical storm I rode out exposed a few areas of concern,so maybe the storm was a blessing. Good Luck hope you have great experience.

Thanks for the tip on the Anderson hitch. We really didn't have much in the bed so thats good info. I guess I need to ask again what issues you found after the storm. It sounds like maybe there were some moisture problems?

We camped there in Corsicana to look for issues and had a problem with the keyless entry lock sticking and the water pump switch had come loose from the fiberglass around it. We also had a problem with the closet door latch but I think that was partly my fault (overstuffing it) and I was able to fix it that evening. Although I think the latches may be a weak spot. We called them the next morning and they were able to fix everything to our satisfaction very quickly but it was nothing serious. Any feedback you have from your experience is certainly helpful.

We're booked for a Rockport trip at the end of the month down at Goose Island State Park. Looking forward to learning more and maybe getting after the Reds down there in the Kayak. I have to figure out what bed rack system to use for the kayak though and what the clearance is between the bed and the trailer.

We just got a 2020 Casita 17' a few months ago. I added a redarc brake control and RAS and am happy with how it tows. It defiantly suffers from wind drag at 70+ mph but if I keep around 65 I have averaged 12-13 MPG.

I have the Quicksilver 6.0 and love the ease of travel with it, under 800lbs and on 265s(matching tacoma including lug). The all aluminum construction is top notch, and i found mine on FB marketplace for $5K a year ago. Sadly, Thor motorcoach(trailer/rv company)bought “Livin Lite” in 2014()i believe) and by 2017 they had stopped production.
Random thing: if anyone knows CAD or has an interest in manufacturing trailers similar to these then let me know. Ill gladly 4d scan the trailers exterior/belly/interior to get dimensions and structure layout, so a person has a starting point for building their own replica(priced out materials approx 3K)IMG_2597.jpgIMG_2483.jpg

That's a very positive thought but not realistic.
They have issues most folks overlook. When we spend 35000 on a compact travel trailer thier should be no issues but I can guarantee that will not be the case.

Not sayin don't buy one just go into it eyes WIDE open
