Installed a Softopper on my access cab today. The black and tan color combo looks pretty good :)

Nice. I had a chat with the folks at Can-Back last week. Looks like new Tacoma's will be on their production schedule soon. Decisions, decisions...

In keeping with my nature, I went oddball and ordered a black Leer 100XQ for my BBP AC. More of a pickup truck look, and less of an SUV look. If you don't care for my choice, please keep the hating to yourself.

I really like the contrasting colors. With all due respect, I think the tan will look even better after several months in the sun, after it stretches and fades a bit.

You can wash it, but have to be careful since their production/turnover is quick and the paint has not cured by the time it reaches you. Perhaps you misread the part about waxing it? Same reasoning applies for that.

What rack setup is that on your cab? Looks like a couple things stacked up?

Maybe I received an older brochure. I think I will email customer service. Thanks or the info..

Update... After emailing ARE CS, I received a return email stating not to wash or wax for the first 60 days. Guess I will have to ride around with a dirty shell!

Do you have any problems with yours?

They stopped making these for the 3rd gen so they could redesign them
