Where did you get the grenade, do you know if it will work with a auto shifter?

Saved it from active duty time. I have seen them at surplus stores in GA as well (mostly the M67). It will take a bushing to fit. I used thick rubber.

It was real, in as far as that it was US govt issue. But it was a training "dummy" already holed so no combustion expansion could occur (inert). The spoon, striker, striker spring, primer, safety pin & ring, and fuse body were all complete. The fuze was removed and I popped the primer.
I utilized the hole for mounting via the heavy rubber bushing.

Gonna try this one out! Made from Delrin.
Might ditch the grommet later or snug the boot up to meet the shifter. We'll see.

Anyone have a good link to heavy metal knobs? Tungsten maybe. Platinum too expensive. Plutonium a bit warm. Coated Lead? Copper or Nickel denser than Iron.

I noticed even with my Ti knob, the shifter rattles around significantly more than stock. Anyone know if this will cause premature (excessive) wear on the bushings, or transmission internals? I find I drive around with my hand lightly resting on the shifter most of the time so it's not so much of a problem. I imagine it would be even more pronounced with a heavier knob.
