LOL I am SO late to the game of light bars. I had this thing sitting forever and FINALLY just installed it with a buddy over the weekend after I got sick of it sitting around for almost a year! I'm so glad to be part of the light bar club now!

Whoooooo buddy that looks clean clean ! I just ordered a color matched 2011 grill too. It’s just taking forever to get in to me. From Cobb county Toyota man it’s gonna look sweet ! What did u use to paint the grille emblem black? It blends nicely with that honeycomb gloss. I love the makeover! U may have mentioned already. Those fogs. SS3 diode dynamics? And sport or pro? Fabulous look!

I used gloss Krylon fusion. First sanded down with 220 and then hit it with 5 coats. And the ss3 are the sports. I ordered the grill off Amazon and got it in two days

Nice man! I can’t wait to get mine in and become your twin! How much space is there in the grill to mount say a front facing camera ? I almost thought I saw one in one of your other recent pics. Kinda had a red hue (Pic Below) _ maybe some wiring or something also?
I bout some diff kinda raptor like Lights to try and fab into that new 2011 honeycomb grill. Not sure if they are gonna work tho. One is a kit for the TRD pro grill inserts. thosE old ugly block really didn’t give us any room to play did they ?

The areas you have circled are in the center bar but there is room above and below that. Big enough to slide your fingers in there. If those raptor lights have a screw on back you might try going right through the honeycomb part of the grill. You mentioned you’ll be my twin theres another member on here who ive been chatting with just bought an 11 grill also and he said were twincomas .lol

Did you do any coats of clear over the Krylon gloss black ? Ha yeah man gonna be tacotwins ! Your SS3 fogs are the sports right ? I was almost dead set on the pros but have seen that many say they may be too much/overBright. If you have the sports do u think they are enough or ever want more and wish u had gone straight pro ?

I did not put any clear over the Krylon im thinking it will be fine. Now the ss3’s im coming from the he baja designs witch were brighter on the sports but the cut off was not precise. Do I regret not getting the pros? No Not for the price difference . The sports are fine I don’t think there worth it for as much night driving i do . I feel better that they are street legal and im not possibly blinding people

Bought some SS3 sports last night. Looks like I got some of the last low stock as they are backordered when i looked early this am. Figure for the $ I’ll start here which will be greatly improved over stock and I can always Transfer the pods to another application such as an aftermarket bumper or another vehicle.

@TACOMA2NDGEN I’m getting closer twin. Light bar went in today. Auxbeam 32” Caliraised brackets. Trigger 4 plus for the accessories. No need to run wires through firewall. All remote or app. SS3 sports should arrive Tuesday. Not sure on the 2011 grille yet. That mf taking forever. Called the dealer last week. Facelift upcoming. Happy Holiday. We did some labor today. My brackets weren’t too tight. Just took forever ratcheting them off and had to make a run to Lowes bc the Caliraised lock washers wouldn’t fit over the auxbeam Allen bolts. I know I alllready know. I should have enough countried up Btw how did you connect your wires ? Man I got some 10-12ga butt connnectors and there’re were still tight AF getting them inside.
