Show me your military trailer!

I would like to get a small military trailer someday and would like to see who has one on here. This can also be a discussion thread on military trailers as well.

 

Is there a model that is small with a tailgate? One that is big enough to haul one ATV, but not bigger, if not, not much bigger.

 

I sold a tan M416 last month and immediately regretted it.

Fortunately, another (green) M416 in excellent condition fell into my lap for $300 cheaper than the cost of my first one, with a spare included.

The tire mount on the side is coming off and a Toyota spare mount is going under the trailer behind the axle.

Lunette restoration and axle swap are the only two things planned for the immediate future.







I'll be getting a new 3500 lbs axle with a six bolt pattern to accommodate Toyota steelies to somewhat retain the OEM look:

I would totally consider one of those if I wasn't planning on getting a soft top. I need one of those more than a bed rack.

 

Is there a small modeled trailer like that with a tailgate? One of these to haul an ATV would be cool. Even though I'll probably get the run of the mill Lowes model trailer for that, but curious.

 

I've had this M416 for close to 20 yrs.
Its been towed behind a '84 FJ60, '95 FZJ80, '07 Tacoma, '07 FJ Cruiser & now my '13 Tacoma

Yep. That's why most people get them. You can upgrade them or leave them as is.

 

The pintle hook & loop allows for great flex between rig & trailer.
The luntel rotates at the trailer end once you get rolling you don't even know its back there.
I added a flag I could see in the reviewer mirror so I could see it was still there.

After following Kai for an extended period off road last year, it solidified my intent to get one of these trailers.

He was pulling it at 75 mph down I-25 and was moving at a good clip on a variety of conditions off road from flat desert to mountainous terrain.

 

These things are sweet. Now just to find and get money for one

 

A M416 just hit CL in Ruidoso.

I don't know the condition, but it probably won't last long.
