I've got the same truck as you (except DC) and honestly tried to model my suspension and looks after yours. Ive always liked your truck. Ive got the stock 17" with Leveling kit. I just have my stock 265/65/17 right now but im thinking about going with 255/75/17 when these wear a little more. Whats your average MPG?

Here's mine. 2015 SR5. Had it for almost a year and still bone stock. Love the color as it reminds me of my favorite vehicle owned to date: a TJ Rubicon that I had about a decade ago. In the process of figuring out new wheels and tires. Gonna go with 265s and probably stick with 16" wheels. After that probably get the windows tinted in a month or so and then Bilstein 5100s front and rear and a small AAL. Then we'll see what happens after that.

bumper turned out great! I can't get any shops to paint over the chrome. What sort of prep work did you do prior to painting?

unfortunately, it is chrome. Do you have any idea what that would cost? I am debating on just buying a painted one at a wrecking yard and paint matching it.

Some shops will shoot you a low price but they will make you wait a bit until they have allot of work stacked up so they can do it all at once. If you’re not in a rush that might save you some loot.

Once you get a quote look into getting a blasting setup for yourself from places like Eastwood or Harbor Freight.

Buddy does allot of antique farm equipment restoration and ended up getting a baking soda blasting setup. It’s awesome and he even makes some money on the side with it.

What color is your wheels? & what brand of lift do you have? I have a 2015 Pyrite Tacoma 4x4 and fixing to start building it. I want to do a lift but nothing to crazy. How does your 265/70/17s fit compared to the 265/65s?

Your truck is sweet and unique!

He has a lift. Basic sized tires and stock Toyota trd wheels. I agree his truck is sweet but nothing unique about it at all. I guess that plate location is somewhat unique.

I'm wanting to know what brand lift he has. He has 1.75" in the front. Stock in back. Bilstein 5100s. BFG Ko2 265/70/17s. I'm wanting to know how they fit compared to stock 265/65/17s so I wouldn't have any rubbing. Those are TRD PRO 4 Runner wheels. His truck is unique because it's his build and I've never saw one like it. ‍‍♀️
