When the Pyrite first came out, "Yuck!" Since that time they grew on me. I have a white 08 Prerunner Access cab, like the white for my pest control business (cooler inside and in the bed area with white cap). It's time to buy another taco and retire the 08. I saw a few preowned Pyrite Mica tacos, would look great with the green company logo. The only issue is the darker color and temps inside (I store pesticides that are sensitive to higher temps), but ARE makes a diamond plate commercial cap that would reflect the heat in side the bed area. That would look sharp if not industrial in p-mica and the Bugzilla lettering. As for a white cap, not feeling it.

You guys with the p-mica trucks, really like them now ;) It's too bad they discontinued the color. Then there's that beige putty on the 3rd gens, aka baby poop beige. If done one up (wheels etc) that could look ok as well.

Toyota seems to retire and reintroduce colors from time to time. I'm sure it will make an appearance after a few years. They are probably just giving people a chance to miss it.

Just as an example, I kind of wanted the dark blue that they offered on the older second gens. Come 2007 or so, they replaced it with Speedway Blue. To quote you..."Yuck!" Then when they did the 2.5 reboot with the updated front in 2012, that dark blue was reintroduced. That hideous Gator blue hasn't been back since and I don't miss it!

Just got back from a 4 day trip to Utah. I can’t wait to spend the next 3 weeks cleaning all the mud and sand out of it.

Haha. PM inbound. I’ll ask the wifey what the recipe is. We cooked it before hand and heated it up in the campfire to get that crunchy, smoky crust.
