Thanks for the feedback guys. I ended up going with a Bestop; I think it will better suit my needs. Plus I didn't want to shell out over a grand for a top after I just ordered bumpers.

 

Craigslist find for $700.00 Z-series w/remote lock, carpet.

 

Just got mine installed this week.

Snugtop with windoors, keyless entry, flip down and slide front window, headliner and roof rack rails.
Also Bedrug.

While I am not in love with the look of the windoors, they are all but a necessity for work. Not getting any younger and climbing over all my stuff to retrieve something in the front of the bed sucks.

 

Sweet cap man. What kind of window vents are those in the front?

So... Two weeks ago I bought my Tacoma and it came with a shell. I tried to sell the shell thinking I didn't need it...

This thing is great. It's rained (poured) on me several days and all my stuff has stayed nice and dry. No worries. Love it.

Does anybody have a ARE CX or MX with toolboxes? I would like to see how much room they take up in the bed.

 

I got a Leer shell for 700 used, it's just what they cost for my 12 Taco. Made this platform bed, and added some bike mounts with the leftover carpet and lumber.

 

Installed my new A.R.E Mx series shell. Happy with the build quality.

Ordered my Leer 100R today. Vented windoors, free sliding/folding front window, and the wilderness package. Should be here the week after the 4th.
