Thanks Yeah so I checked it out and it has a carpeted interior, cargo net, and LED light. It matches the color of my truck but I'm wondering what if it will fit my truck, I have a 2012 and this is off an 07

The 07 should fit your 12 just fine (same bed length)...

    What to look for"
    • not sure who installed the racks. Check for leaks. feel around inside or maybe even hit it with hose.
    • Check for cracks all over but especially at the rack attachment area
    • Check the door cyclinders. Replacable but would affect purchase price.
    • Check the locking mech. Make sure it shuts, locks, unlocks
    • Check sliders (of flipouts if equipt) for function
    • Should have four brackets to hold onto your OEM rails
    • Check paint but a little wax does wonders to the finish.
    • The 180 has a little rise to it (not cab flush) not sure of retail but maybe offer a little less...just for fun of course...

Looking for pictures of a decent-looking aluminum cap (as if any are really THAT good looking) on a regular cab.

I'm in the market for a cap and since I have a white regular cab, I don't think an all aluminum cap would look too terrible on it. I prefer the nicer Leer DCC and other variants, but those are going to be nearly as much as a fiberglass Leer/ARE.

The other competitors are Leer's 100R and ARE's V-series. Both around $1,800 installed at my local dealer.

Not too many pics online of Tacomas with the basic aluminum/commercial caps, unfortunately.

Finally got the 100xr on! I ordered it with a windoor drivers side and the standard slider on the other side. Removable front slider, carpeted, and with the thule racks installed. I really like the way it came out and has already proved useful multiple times. Now to start on a camping setup!

2014 TRD Sport....Just got my Leer 100XR installed.
Liked the looks of the framed side glass so I chose the XR over the XQ/XL (both fine canopys)

Has the factory installed Thule tracks and inner gear net. This months freebe was the fold down front slider...

Two hours old so no real review yet, my third Leer so there is that...

How are the compression boots? Do they seal well?
I like the idea of it, lighter, better access to rear window, less to break.
    What are the cons everyone?

Great deal too!! Black looks great on the truck

Its been raining since last night, and there is no leaking coming from the front boot, its nice because I can just open my truck window and have access to the shell.

Not bad, I think some of it may also be not having it sealed around the bottom real good too.

    Ordered an ARE V-Series today.

    Tilt-down front slider
    Vented windoors
    12v interior light
    Rack rails

Three weeks or so, so they say...I won't be expecting anything until mid-October, though, just to be sure I don't get let down.

For those shopping, this set me back $1,800 after tax and installation.
