I believe we went to the same dealer in Austin, they told me Snugtop is the most trouble for them, not because of quality in comparison to the ARE or ATC but because people expect perfection for that kind of money. I have bin to 3 leer dealers in town and all "suck" at costumer service, just trying to get a price. I am leaning toward Snugtop or ATC, ARE doesn't offer a commercial grade top for heavy loads.

Glad it wasn't just me! Too bad because Leer looks like a nice product.

I may roll the dice with snugtop. I hate that the rebel doesn't have the sliding screen option. The more I think about it the more I need it for my swingbox as well as the dogs. The cost sucks but then again, some of the standard XV features are paid "upgrades" on the rebel.

Lumber. ARE does not offer a reinforced roof, if they did I would consider them.

I think their roofs are made thicker than what leer and snugtop consider "non reinforced". So in a way it kinda is

Really happy with my commercial Leer 100RCC for lumber loads

Too bad your Leer dealer sucks, mine is awesome. My dealer had Leer and snugtop on the floor to compare both at the same time. Lear XQ for me since it looked like it belonged there stock. Snugtop looked more like an add on and more obvious. To me both were good but the XQ won. My salesman did mention than Leer was easier to deal with on issues and getting replacement parts. I asked him which one he'd buy and he said Leer and then showed me his on his Tacoma. Sold.

One thing I wonder about ARE is why they are ok with windows and window cutouts which don't match up.

I am torn between the Leer 100rcc and the Snugtop pro, cost is about the same, the leer dealers here are less than helpfull. I agree the leer looks better, but I will no doubt mess up what ever one I get... It's a work truck:-/

Mind me asking what you paid for that and do you like it? I'm debating on making my own or actually doing a whole Bedrug

I almost did my own but ended up just dropping $150 on this. Well worth it in my opinion. The floor of the bed has so many ribs it wouldn't be worth it to DIY in my opinion.

Do you have a short bed? I have a full bed rug set that I am trying to sell. It covers the entire bed to include the tailgate.
