what do you guys do with your high center brake light on the truck when you put on a cap? just pull the bulb out? will get a brake light out beep whenever i hit the brakes?

it glows red in between the cab and the cap as it is now

I don't even notice mine. Don't see red glowing. take your bulb out and try it. if it bothers you. Won't hurt anything.

Never bothered me but I put a piece of 2" wide black vinyl tape over it.
The cap guy that installed it said that he usually takes the bulbs out but he saw that I had LEDs in mine so he left them.

I don't notice anything either. The tape sounds like a simple enough solution though.

Couple more pics of the new Leer 100r with vented windoors, the interior LED light that came standard with this shell isn't that bad. I wonder when they started using the LED light?

Thanx! I think you'll be fine with just cap racks. Before my cap basket which is 5' long, I would have my 9' longboard and 11'2" paddle board on my Thule bars bolted to the cap 4' apart with no issues.

You'll be fine... Just make sure you have it strapped down securely. On my old first gen, I regularly carried this 16ft canoe on a shortbed top. Two straps across the top and a ratchet strap front and back to keep it from sliding. 75-80 mph on the highway with no issues... Well, minus the MPG loss that is.
