Did you paint the inside of your shell with some kind of coating?

Ok, guess mine just looks dirty...

Has anyone painted the inside of their shell? Was considering spraying it with some of that textured paint (rust oleum) or something.

    What have y'all done?

I did paint the sides that are like a shelf. I didn't like having my 3 y.o. putting is arms on exposed fiberglass. That worked slick. Actually thought about doing the rest of it.

Yup. Used a brush because of the size I did, but would roll the ceiling if I did it. Think I did about 3 coats. Actually came out pretty good where I did it.

ARE was offering a free headliner when I got mine. Saved the trouble of painting. That raw fiberglass is sharp and dusty.

Just picked up a Leer 100RRC for my wife's adventure truck build. With the limited amount of available bed real estate with these little trucks we decided to go with the solid door and dual toolbox options to maximize organizational space. We also went with full headliner, Thule rack for the kayaks, and LED lighting...

Has anyone found a way to incorporate cross bars like photo below with their shell.

I have thought of the voodoo cross bars but I want it up a little higher than even with the rails for storage reasons.

While those can't work you could build one that sits on the floor of your bed instead of on the bed rails.

Why do you want bars across on the inside? You could use the tracks in your bed to mount some cross bars

I would like to get my hi-lift (mounted to rail), snowboard rack (when in use) and spare tire mounted to it. It wouldn't necessarily need to be as tall as bars pictured, just something above the rails.

It would be up off the bed and would have the advantage of having the bed free for any other kind of storage needed.
