I love the look of your Sport Hi-Liner by Snugtop. I ordered mine earlier this week. The next three weeks will drag on for ever.

Can anyone confirm for sure if second generation DCLB caps fits third generation DCLB Tacomas or not? (Especially cab high caps). Would like to know just in case a Craigslist score comes up.

    Thanks in advance.

How different are the beds? Like they won't match up perfect? Or all kinds of water will make its way through.

No one seems to be making the extra tall camper shells for the 3rd gens. Just the mid rise. Or will it just take a couple years until they decide it's worth it to produce one?

How did the installer seal the gap between the side rails and the front bulkhead of the bed?

I was really, really tempted to just get the cab high Rebel. The higher than cab look is still growing in me a bit. Sheet crawling around in the back though... and considering a bed platform... no idea how anyone gets in a cab height.

Looks good! Thinking of picking this up for my double cab short bed. How do you like this shell so far?

Great so far. Been a week. If you don't mind that it hangs out wider than the need rails. I know that bugs some people. But that way it doesn't rub the paint on the bed sides.

Fit and finish is good though. My Favorite part is the all glass rear door though!! HiLiner Sport FTW.

Looks good. I have the same set up plus roof tracks. That single rope light is bright.

I wanted the tracks but I never even used the factory rack once, kind throwing money away for me there. And ya I was surprised how bright the rope was, I like that it's velcro'd too!

Has anyone swapped shells between an AC and DCLB? I know the single cab has a different roofline/cab angle, wondering if these two configs are the same as I'm looking at a used snug top.

    Insight appreciated.
