Dynatrac ProRock 60 Rear Axle, that is important enough.
For people that are looking for a simple way to put some shell lighting or a place to hang stuff while at camp. I did this today in the Snugtop.

The Snugtop that I have has two nuts on each bolt that holds the hinges for the rear glass on, one is to keep it tight, and the other one is just a cover that is screwed over it... Had an idea to use some angle metal to mount a light in there, so went to Lowes and picked up a long piece to be able to cut down to the size I wanted. Once I got in there and starting doing this project, I realized I could use this piece and go from one side of the shell to the other side without issue... so I did just that. Used some Nylon lock nuts and just removed the bolt on covers and bolt this right up.

So, I now have a spot to hold my Luminoodle that is also used for shell lighting, but now provides more light on the tailgate for prepping food and what not while at camp. Also used it to mount a red flashing led light that I can use if I am on the side of a road with an issue or helping someone out, I plan on getting another one of these lights but in Amber to use as a dust light while on the trail as it can be seen very well through the rear glass of the shell.

Since it has all the holes in it, I can use it to hook stuff onto it while at camp like cooking utensils, towels, etc.

that's a nice cap. I had an aluminum cap for an '89 pickup I had and it was a treat mainly cause I could walk in the bed and easily walk out with the cap on my shoulders. In the end it got used pretty hard and finally succumbed to the abuse.

    image021.jpg

Built a storage box for in the bed and made 4 cap clamps out of 3/16" plate this week.

    image024.jpg
