If you mean that it has the ability to pull girls back to taco on any given roadtrip then yes my friend you are correct. It is a wonder how well she works.
Hahaha I think it looks clean on there and I get to lock my stuff up when I hit the road. Worth it, Love it.

Thanks for all the pics and opinions I was going to go with a LEER XL but after thinking about it for camping out the XR with the sliding windows will be much more to my liking...

    Going to order it today...hopefully...

Look at the latching systems. Thats what made me go with snugtop (xtra vision) vs. Leer. Leer uses cables, Snugtop uses bars. Only prob I have now is there arent any Snugtop dealers near where I'm stationed. Very happy with my choice though!

I have plenty of snug top dealers where I am at. The dealer near me has 4 locations and are the only dealer in the area so they have a monopoly and want $2100 for a comparable LEER..

Yeah I admit you do pay more for Snugtop but it just seemed better quality to me. I'm sure there are plenty out there that love Leer and have never had any issues. Just my opinion.

What I ment by none being where I am is if you PCS to Drum or somewhere else on the east coast there is'nt anyone closer then MO (according to the dealer locator).

When I was shopping around, any of the caps with the "single" center lock (1/4 twist type) had cables running from the lock to the side latches. The side lock types were typical flat bar type.

    Gotcha

    Mine's the twin handles

They are apparently more secure than the single centre set up

Yeah if either Leer or Snugtop had made "flat" handles on the side I wouldve gone that route. Just had a cleaner look to me and I don't keep anything too crazy in the back.

Hey guys, is $1425 out the door on a short bed (5' bed) LEER 100R with front slider a good deal (Los Angeles)?
I think I like the look of the 100R the most because of it's simplicity/clean lines.
After going through 29 pages of this, I'm more confused than ever...lol.

    Edit:
I just ordered the 100R from American Truck Outfitters in North Hills CA for $1400 OTD! Woohoo I'll have it in 2 weeks!
