Damn that looks good. I kind of want to kick myself in the butt for not going with the 180.

Here my snugtop I picked up for $550. Pretty nice. Had a few things to fix on it.

Craigslist find a few years ago. Don't remember the name of the shell, but it was built in Huntington Beach. I added the Thule racks.IMG_2194.jpg

Not to totally hijack the thread, but does anyone have an online source to buy snugtop parts from with a full list of parts?

I've looked through about 100 pages of this thread. And have been looking on Craigslist for a shell for about 2 years and I finally found a white leer 100xr. I'm going to pick it up on Tuesday. So excited! :broccoli:

Ok here it is.......but I'm pretty sure the brake light is junk. So correct me if I'm wrong here ....i tapped into the drivers side brake light the green with red stripe. And grounded it. It does not work. But I wired the dome light to it as a test.....and the dome light in the cap comes on as the brake light "should" I'm pretty sure that's the issue. I'm no electrical wizard. But I ordered one and it'll be here Saturday

Sounds like you wired it right. You can also test it with a drill battery, but it sounds dead.

Most LEDs are rated from 5 to 33 volts so I doubt you’ll have issues.

This might be a stupid question.....do you guys disconnect the 3rd brake light on the cab or just leave it because it's blocked by the shell? Seems like a waste of time to disconnect it
