I pulled some tracks off of a '93 Pathfinder: They are very stout. I have seen nothing that is even close. However, on the model year I selected the end caps were a little sloppy for a shell and the tracks themselves are pretty wide (2.5"s with gasket flange) and slightly taller than the store bought-and heavy ~10lbs each side. I would recommend these for the roof top campers and heavy loaders out there for a bullet proof application.

I eventually used the tracks off of a 2002 Expedition, and was able to reuse the OEM mounting screws. These tracks are better than or equal to any of the rack company offerings and they have a flange and curb on the outside rail that makes sliding the racks a breeze. It was a lot of work doing it this way, but it was worth it especially for the junk yard adventure.

Finally got my cap on! Leer XL. Carpet liner, led dome, cabside sliding/removable window & rack rails installed. Working on building my own Prinsu style cap rack. Ended up buying new due to lack of used options in my region.IMG_20180407_191159.jpg

My local tint shop will not tint the sides of my 100XR(say they cant make it look clean, so they refuse to do it). The person I bought it from put some black cloth type of material, but its held in place with double sided tape and looks really bad from the inside LOL. Does the job, but Id like to clean it up a bit in the next few weeks. Other than tint obviously, what other ideas have you guys been successful with in blacking out or jerry-rigging some curtains on the sides??

Do you have carpet headliner inside? Get some velcro and sew it onto some fabric.

Intermittent wipers for starters, just bought the truck 2 weeks ago
I just ordered a camper shell for my new truck. The guy at Cap City said it would be 3 to 6 weeks before it came in. I'm thinking they either are making it for me, there, or the dealer is just waiting for other folks to come in and order the same shell so he can order everything at the same time and save a little money via discounted shipping.

HAHA can't make a clean cut LOL -- Well maybe because they use a machine to precisely cut each piece of tint based on the make/model of your truck. And no one can make a "clean" cut.... Take it to another tint shop!

I got my 3 windows tinted for $115

I used reflectix to make some blockouts for my side windows. I just cut them so they tuck under the props and latches on the windoors, which I don't really like, because it interferes with opening the windoor. I'm planning on redoing them, but using thin strips of velcro to attache the reflectix to the frame of the windoor. I'll see if I can grab some photos of the current setup tonight.
