I also bought a small roll of reflectix at HD and trimmed it to size. Works great. I put some gorilla glue on to hold the Velcro stips and it holds well to the carpet liner. Reflectix is cheap, so if you messed it up, it’s easy to cut another piece. I think it looks good on the outside AND inside of my shell honestly

Purchased off eBay and applied myself. Sharp razor blade, little patience, and bubbles did not occur since it's perforated. Don't open the windows for a little while. I also had the seller produce one side mirrored so they gave the same direction. Here is the seller https://m.ebay.com/itm/STORM-TROOPE...uv-van-ute-star-wars-/122213270040?nav=SEARCH . Measure for you window

Is it bad I didn't even notice the Storm Trooper until I clicked the ebay link? I thought it was a rainy day/haze glare on the reflection... back to work

Looking to purchase a used shell but it does NOT come with tracks or rails. How does/did everyone mount a roof rack to the shell and what brand(s) did you go with?
FWIW i'm looking for as a low profile as possible.

You drill holes for the track through the shell and attach it with bolts. Other option would be mounting the feet directly to the shell. Tracks makes way more sense to me though

That's the route I'm thinking. I want the cross rails to be as low to the shell as possible so I'm looking for ideas there now.

I already had LED strip lights installed, couldn’t see anything when I just had a OME cover. I will grab a picture this evening of it lit up.

Dang! Now I regret spending money on a 12v dome with magnetic switch. Should’ve opted out and did a better job lighting it myself

I'll try give me dealer a call tomorrow. They mentioned Leer would begin the build right after ordering. Hope it's not too late.

Kinda lame it comes standard with a battery powered dome light. Bet it sucks pretty bad.

Just picked this up a few weeks ago. Trucks a 2015 and this shell is of the earlier silver. Not 100% what I’m going to do yet. Might even get a color matched liner spray on it. Just replaced the gas struts on the door and the seals along the box and tailgate and she’s good as new. I’ve still been thinking of getting a full aluminum one built with this design.
