    Black compliments those wheels!

Can I ask if you like that rack on your roof?

It’s not a drilled option but is it rubbing paint off or anything?

Just got my Snugtop Rebel from A&A toppers (south) here in Colorado. The guys did a great job and I highly recommend them! Loving it.

    make it look good.
Been following the post since page 298. I dig some of the shells you guys are dealing with. I found this shell on Offerup and couldn't help getting a hold of the supersport since they look made for the Taco. I ran a couple coats of Primer and color matched another 2 coats. So far it looks good and fits good.

Here's one I took last year from a trip through Washington

Not the BEST deal in the world, but figured I would share. Found while on the hunt for a shell for my Silver Sky, which is becoming quite difficult to find for a second gen. Thought about getting an off color cap, but not sure if I can get behind having it different from the truck. Hoping this isn't too off topic. If so, let me know. I'm pretty new... :hattip:

My cap was blue originally and I didn't mind it at first.
    IMG_0556.jpg

But I ended up paying $500 to have it sent back to leer and get repainted silver sky and it looks way better.

That looks great! I ended up going new as I need the extra room for some upcoming adventures. Went for the ARE CX with the vented windoors, fold down front slider, roof tracks, and carpeted headliner which was included. Super excited! I was on the fence between the ARE and Leer 100XR, but with option that I was looking for, the Leer ended up being roughly $400-$500 more which is close to a Prinsu rack that I'd like to add. Now the waiting game begins!

Looks great but I have to ask why wouldn’t you put it on the left side in your blind spot instead of on the right?

I have a first gen cap which allows for the extra room.. no blind spot.

Last year I made a fishing rod holder that held 4 rods. No issues.

Does anyone have the specs of the Leer 100R? (weight / payload capacity) I have a 2014 100R, but the only Leer dealer near me won't give me information on mine... guy just wants me to buy a new cap from them with all of the bells. I went on Saturday looking to price out a Thule rack system, and the rep was saying that I shouldn't install a rack due to the carpet lining (TW search proves this mostly false = watch the carpet snag), and that the Fiberglass would crack if I put more than 200lbs on top... but I see guys here with RTT, and I'm assuming they aren't just for show...

When I purchased my CX, I didn’t have an option for a bottom trim. I’ve had the shell for 2 years now and love it, had no issues with it. Small amount of leak with heavy rain but not a problem for me. Racks have come in handy hauling longer ladders, wood, etc. I decided to go with the protective coating finish, I like the look for my truck. The interior light comes in handy, definitely recommend. Good luck

Leak is one of the front corners toward the cab. It’s a small amount, very minor issue for me. Having the shell on definitely outweighs the times I’ve needed it off for hauling.
