Just picked up my new to me aluminum shell!

Does anyone have ideas on how I can reinforce this for my CVT hardshell tent?

I wouldnt think you would need to reinforce much as those are commercial contractor caps and should hold better than fiber glass. Any pics of inside? Looks good on the white truck man nice grab.

Nice cuts on rear end looks clean you doing a custom rear bumper?

It looks like some sort of insulation up top, but it’s all aluminum. I’m thinking of building just a simple support rack of unistrut...

A custom rear bumper WAS the plan... but now I just really like how it looks lol

An old cap off of a ranger I picked up for $100. Finding a proper Tacoma shell in my area, let a lone at a reasonable price, is next to impossible. Painted this one with EZ liner bedliner and built some racks from steel I had laying around.

Finished my unistrut cage! Went on a shakedown run last night up a SUPER washboard-y road and everything held up great so far! Even made a little cage for my gas cans too.

Great mods with the commercial shell. I bought a new Lifetime Workmate commercial shell for a great deal with side doors and high rise for extra space. I plan to mount a RTT on the shell but I'll need to reinforce it like yours. How did you attach your RTT to the shell?

Man, I know a lot of people talk crap about the TRD Pro due to its price, but your truck alone makes me say, "If I had the money I would totally be driving a pro!"

Looking very good! Especially love the black. you don't see them in Black a whole lot. That is exactly how I would get mine.
