I was reading on another thread that guys are reporting that they are getting cracks in there beds. Some said it was that they had a shell others said it was from they had a rack. So I'm asking all you guys running a shell have any of you developed any cracks in your bed by running the shell?
I haven't Yet but am concerned of this happening.

Replaced my aluminum cap with this one today. Searched for a while and got lucky finding the same color. Really happy with how it looks. :D

    Sadly, not much.
Does anyone have a DCLB with a mid rise canopy and either a frontrunner or prinsu rack installed? I’ve been searching through all the forums and haven’t seen that set up. Would be helpful in my decision making!

Found this Raider Vagabond on FB Marketplace for $400.00. It's in great shape but I ordered new handles for it so hopefully they will arrive in a few days.

Aluminum topper CL find 7 years ago for $250 w/ windoors. It is a Ranger brand (small company out of Central PA). It has served me very well through the years! We have camped in the back of the truck a couple of times, hauled kayaks and bikes around, and had plans to insulate and carpet, but it is just too damn hot in Florida to camp in the summer and too crowded to camp in the winter!

New (to me) CL find a couple weeks ago... $300 Leer 100r w/windoors... It is a basic topper (aside from the windoors) and isn't perfect, but it is color matched and I felt the price was good! I'd like to paint or carpet the inside and build a prinsu style top rack for it.

After looking through this entire thread, now I can't decide which topper to keep!

Jim, I like the simplicity and multi use capability of this set up. Which size tarp seems to work best, 12 or 16'?

Just FYI when looking for parts for that, it's the exact same shell as a Leer 100r.

Mines a 12’ model I think, a 16’ would be better, side coverage is a must for side windoors.
