Actually talked to this guy about buying his shell. He sold it before I could make the drive to the other side of Charlotte. Did you get it??

Just swapped out my fiberglass Snugtop shell for this aluminum ARE commercial shell. I'll need to insulate and carpet it, but love the heavy duty locks and side door access. It was also super cheap (relatively for overland stuff, lol!)

Found one member with a camera mounted on their shell anyone else ?

Even if it’s aftermarket. Just getting an idea. When we did my swing out I lost the camera. Relocated to the swing out now I lost it again when I mounted my 35 spare on it. (Hindsight should have mounted the 35 first ) but so there’s no more moving it later and having cables ran that are constantly moving im wanting to get the camera up on the shell.

Anyone know how I properly install the exposed wires into the male connectors below?

Place a stripped length of the wire into the pins, making sure they're seated up to the little flange (a sort of stop that prevents the wire from sliding any closer to the front of the pin). You'll need a special crimper to then rotate the edge flanges near the base to grip onto the wire. I bet there's a number of much more helpful videos on YouTube.

So I made up these brackets for the roof of my shell. They mount inside using the same holes for the tracks on the outside. This gives me a nice way to hang things inside as well as adding a little more strength. Once I get a warmer day I’ll mount them. I also plan to mount LED lights on them as well.

There are two crimps on each pin connector, one is for the bare wire and the other is for the wire with insulation. Get some heat shrink and slide it on first then crimp the bare wire, then the insulated wire, then collapse the heat shrink making sure it will still slip into the plug. Molex connector will allow some but not a lot of heat shrink(depends on wire guage).
