I have been searching for a decent cap/topper for my '09 AC for a year or so. I found a couple that were not the right color and it was going to cost me about $500 for a color match paint job. Today I picked up a Leer cap (180 I think) that is in near perfect condition other than a couple of small paint chips. The locks work, the struts work and all the glass is intact. It has the dome light and rails for a rack and it is factory color match. As a bonus, the guy threw in 4 Toyota bed cleats. All this for $500 Canadian (about $75 USD ;) ). Looking forward to doing some camping this summer; if the apocalypse is over by then.

I'd be interested in a set as well, but I'm a long bed driver...

Picked up my snugtop hi-liner sport today. The job from the factory and dealer both seem absolute spot on.

Any issues with the rear window? Any gap?
Mines coming in this weekend and am nervous about the mixed reviews....

No issues so far, I've been liking it a lot. I got it used so this one is a couple years old too.

Just got my ARE DCU installed today. I'm digging it. Link to album I am going to paint the aluminum rack with black Herculiner. Will also do the backside of the toolbox with Herculiner. This inside of the toolbox I am going to carpet and add trim to the edges. Install some lights and deck the floor with some drawers.

I believe the bolt spacing is still the same. I've put these in a long bed Tundra and they looked good!

Not sure why I did t get notified of your post. Sorry.

Do you sleep in the center there between the storage units/bench/something?

Yeah, if I'm by myself or if I don't have a lot of gear. If there are two people, I transition it to the large platform.

A quick overnight trip on the local backroads. Canopy is a Snugtop Rebel with a modular carpet kit.

I really dig your setup. It looks sharp, well thought out and put together nicely.

Thanks, but the credit goes to all the folks in these forums who shared their projects...I didn't even realize what I actually wanted until I saw posts of the rigs on this site. I have zero carpentry skills, but I did find a company that makes the modular carpet kits that are just plug and play. Here's a link to a video with a better description: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6rJ...YGS5j326kypxaH_4vetDdv2IQBMpo8UEAos1rrIsUrYus

Soon as I got my Taco couple months back I was searching the forums on how people have engineered ways to camp out of these trucks. Some creative members on here, it's quite impressive.

That really is plug and play. Windows 95 is watching with envy. Pretty nifty setup though.

Does anyone have a fishing rod holder mounted to the ceiling of their shell? If so, can you share a picture? I'm thinking about putting one in mine.
