I think this is one of the best looking and most utilitarian of them all. Awesome but so far out of my wallet range. I'd be very proud to have one. Beautiful.

Nice. I just snagged one off of CL for super cheap. Not a perfect fit, but for the price...I couldn’t pass it up.

Yeah same with this one, it is a little funky front to back but fits perfect side to side. Too cheap not to pick it up though.

Mine is a little wide up by the cab. Hangs over about 1.5” on each side. But at the tailgate, it’s good. Length is correct.

Does anyone have a SnugTop Outback on a 2nd Gen RC? I’ve only ever found one pic, and it was an AC as I recall...

for all you cappers out there, i am about pull the trigger on a Leer. i am getting the cap for keeping tools dry during job runs and for the dog to hang out in on beach trips...and i purchase a lot of long lumber and surfobards on the full length of cap and cabin will be great. finally to the question...is there any reason to get the carpeted liner if i am not planning on camping/sleeping the thing? are there other advantages to having it? i heard someone on the ytube mention not getting fiberglass splinters to their dog???/. does the fiberglass really give splinters from the inside of hte cap?? could I plastidip the inside? :) :). Just trying to pick out the upgrades I need or don't need. Thanks for any help.

Love the utility that comes with a shell.

Leer has offers for some free options on select models.

I just ordered my shell and could get free carpet or removable front sliding window. I opted for the removable sliding window because it was more expensive, and just bought the carpet headliner.

I will pm you the link.

I have a Leer cap. The one that sits 4" above the roof line - great for camping "headroom" and I've carried a few things where the added height allowed larger items to fit. I have the plain fiberglass interior and have no ongoing issues with fiberglass "barbs" or dust as the interior paint does a fine cover coat. Inspect your cap interior and if you find any barbs...have the dealer sand them away, and touch up the paint if damaged. My dog loves cap camping.

I have the 100xr with the headliner and removable front slider. The headliner insulates the cap. That might be good for the dogs being in there. Definitely get the removable front window so you can easily clean it and the back window of the truck. If not, you’ll have to move the cap back several inches to get between the cab and cap to clean them. Just my 2 cents!

    Stock for now.. maybe

I was going to be cheap and do the headliner myself.. glad I didn't and paid the extra hundred or so. It looks much better with the liner. My other shells never had it. Fiberglass can splinter but I was never worried about it with my non carpet ones. I say go with the headliner.

They have coupons online that most dealers will take for a free headliner or fold down front window. Definitely get the fold down window for cleaning purposes.

I ended up putting up my own cargo net afterwards using the bolts from the roof rack tracks
