    Thanks
I am on the left with the 2nd gen (255/85R16 Cooper Discoverer S/T MAXX).
I am not sure what the 3rd gen was running (if I see it again I will snap a pic of the tires).

*See post #8704 in this thread for the 3rd gen tires

Wonder if anyone here has had a similar issue. My LED third brake light on my shell doesn't light up. I oddly noticed it when I added two LED bulbs for my ARB bumper. BTW I have a Leer 100R

I had that problem on my snugtop a long time ago. Did you get it installed by a shop? They could have done the splicing of wires loosely. You can pull your taillight off and see if it's still connected pretty easily.

I had the same issue with the third brake light on my SnugTop. I noticed it shortly after I installed the MESO stg 1 tail light bulb kit. I recall a time shortly after installation (of the MESO kit) where I came to a stop at a light and when I turned on my turn signal, it randomly started doing the hyperblink. I'm only assuming that's when the third brake light went out. Just not sure how or why it happened.

Been super happy with the RLD Designs canopy. Here are a few picks from out in Utah a few months back.

Does anyone have any type of slider/Windoor for a short bed? Leer dealer near me said they can’t do that for the short beds but wasn’t sure if might be different for ARE or other dealers? I want Windoors but also planning on having the pup in the back for in-town jaunts and local beach trips.

When I ordered my ARE, I wanted the windoor/slider set up, but they said that the CX series is not compatible for short bed, but the V series is. I wanted the nicer shell in the CX so I sacrificed the slider. So the V series ARE is an option for you I think.

I do, but my shell is a SnugTop Rebel. Sliding windoors on both sides. The sliding part is pretty small tho. It only slides open about 6" or so because the inside part of the windoor lock interferes with it sliding all the way open.

I can’t decide if the dealers are all lazy or just suck this bad. Here’s a pic of another members truck:

I ordered my Leer on 11-14-20 and was able to order with the sliding windoors. I just got a call saying the shell arrived and have an appointment for install next Thursday so I guess we shall see if they got it right :fingerscrossed:

    Here was my build sheet

Same. Several members have posted about dealers not offering windoors on short beds. But they obviously exist. I have them on mine:

My Leer dealer told me the same thing. Said they only did windoors without the sliders on the short beds but I have seen plenty Leer caps with them.

My leer dealer told me they don't offer the window that lifts up and has a window for my year truck, they do offer it for a 3rd gen tho.
