Maybe try these guys? I’m looking to swap to windoors myself at some point. http://www.parkin-acc.com/index.html

Just got a slightly taller cap - added Decked drawers and suddenly felt a little squished with the cab height Leer. Windoor on driver's side, slider on passenger.
(Also my cab-height Leer is now taking up space in my garage, if anyone is looking for an almost new one!)20201211_150539.jpg

Hate being that guy, but could use some guidance.

Feel like every time I find myself on the subject, I get different input/advice and I'm just trying to consolidate inputs I get.

Figured no better place to ask than this tread. Stock TRD OR DCLB, will I need to AAL or get SumoSpring to avoid sag in the rear from the weight of a shell(ARE CX)?

edit: Bed remains empty when not being used for camping/riding

    Appreciate you all!

    Stock for now.. maybe
I really didn't notice much sag after installing shell and adding a few hundred pounds of gear and beer and my truck is a 2015 sr5. Bought last year and shell purchased a year ago as well.

I had the same concerns but you may as well get your shell and see how it goes. You have a brand new truck and suspension.

I put a few boats on top of my shell gear in the bed and tow a old school 14' camper and it still doesn't sag bad. I'm not going over Colorado passes or anything but I tow it through West Virginia and Western North Carolina no problem

I'm still on stock suspension and your off road should be better. When mine starts to sag I'm going with a whole new leaf set instead ofAAL

I haven’t gotten any sag at all from my ARE Revo CX, Prinsu rack on the shell, and a plywood platform with camping equipment in the back 50% of the time. TRD OR.

Eventually, when I get a RTT I might look into extra leaf springs but that will likely come if I get a dobinsons lift. For now, no problems. See my picture above in the thread to see the lack of sag ^

I haven't measured, but it looks like mine is pretty level with just the cap, rack and maybe 50 pounds of gear. So, I'm guessing I lost an inch in the back. There is noticeable sag when loaded with camping gear. I'm hoping to get Icon RXT or maybe Dobinson leaf pack in the future.

Just ordered a snugtop rebel with the prolock option to my key fob.

Wondering, Is there a way to tie the shell lock to a pop and lock to the tailgate? I would like all doors, tailgate and canopy to be locked/unlocked by the lock unlock buttons on the key fob.

    TIA

I think that is a snugtop option. My dealer recommended against it due to some problems they have had. So I just got a separate key for the back glass.

Functionally and aesthetically it is awesome! I don't know how anyone with a platform lives without windoors.

I did have some water issues though. I think the Can-Back did a better job at hiding the bed flaws because of how low the canvas draped and it can absorb a bit. I just siliconed the gaps in the front and that got rid of 90% if it. I'm thinking about going over it from the inside with some flexseal spray. Anyone ever try that?

I'm sure it's possible. I installed the factory tailgate lock a week prior to getting the Ranch shell with the keyless option installed. They both work in unison. I'm not sure how they tied it into the system. When I get a minute, I'll take a look.

Lock solenoids are just 2 wires. They reverse voltage on both wires to lock or unlock. If you already have a tailgate lock then all you need to do is tap into the same 2 wires. They are usually blue and green.

Thank you! I figured it wasn’t that difficult. Just knowing which wires to tie into.

I have the cab rack and am trying to decide if I want the top rack or not. I kind of like the look with no rack on the shell, but still deciding

I have the cab rack too. I knew I wanted the top rack for the shell so I snatched one up on the Black Friday sale.
