The cables can also be adjusted. I had to fiddle with mine to get them just right.

    True, some mechanisms have adjustments.

There are multiple ways to solve the problem, depending on your shell's lock and door design. You don't want to open up a gap between the door and shell. We get enough dust back there! ;)

Yeah, just posted since I also have a Rebel and had exactly that problem but they may have changed the latch design.

ARE Overland cap, outdoorsmen windows, double t lock in the rear, carpet lined, w/ roof tracks on top. Finally arrived today after 16 long weeks.

Will install an ARB roof rack and build a sleeping platform/work storage unit within.

Damn it took you 16 weeks?

I ordered mine just over a week ago and they quoted like 12 weeks max

Went out to the truck 4 hours after shutting down and heard a humming/whirring from the tank. I popped the cap and pressure bled out and the noise stopped. Why would the fuel pump be running?

I was originally quoted 10-12 but then there were nationwide shortages of fiberglass and the black paint for the overland cap. It got delayed one week at a time, the last month has tested my patience.

These trucks do an automatic vacuum pressure check of the fuel/evap system roughly 4 hours after every shut down. Perfectly normal.

I was prepared for a long wait for my Leer but it hit the early mark. Still haven’t had time to install it. I suspect they build in batches so you never really know until you get the call.

Depends, if you don’t have any of the black OTR spray you should clear one of the shortages. But yeah it’s a painful wait.

I seem to see a lot more Leer's on the road than I do ARE's, so they seem to be more popular which may play a role on how many they produce and how soon you can get one.

Mine is paint matched to my truck which hopefully shouldn't take too long, but it's for a first gen which I assume they don't make too often so who knows.

I am pretty sure ARE only makes the shell once it’s ordered. From what I understand they typically don’t have shells waiting for a future buyer. There are too many truck models and modifications for them to have shells stocked ready to ship.

Need some product advice! Looking for a small fan or something to help ventilate our sleeping setup at night.

Wife and I camp in the bed with our 70lb
lab. Starting to get a toasty back there on these early-summer nights.

We have the vented and screened side windoors, but even with windows fully slid open and the front window fully slid open it’s still gets a little stuffy. We have the carpeting headliner too if that helps.

ideally something that I can rig to hang so it doesn’t take valuable bed platform space

    appreciate you all!
