They said it could take up to 6 months because of the current shortages on building materials! I did order it with the Outdoorsman windows. I also got the tilt down front window, carpeted ceiling, LED rope lights, and roof tracks. Very excited. Hopefully I don’t have to wait that long.

I ordered a LEER 180 with the sliding windoors on April 29th, as of 2 weeks ago they still can't tell me when it will arrive.

Anyone have an idea what just buying sliding windoors for an ARE cap run? Obviously I can call and get a quote, but why do the work myself when I can ask the interwebs for help?!

(I picked up a 2nd hand with windoors but would really like replace at least one with a slider. And since the hinges and struts are already there, I'd image its a straight forward "plug n play".)

I've heard anywhere for $250-$500 a window. Yes it should be an easy swap as long as the physical dimensions are the same.

Wow 6 months is insane! Very cool, you’re going to love the new cap when you finally get it. It’s been a game changer for me

I went into the Leer dealer here yesterday for them to adjust the rear window. I asked how long the wait is now. He said one with regular sliders is about 3 months out and wind doors add another 5 weeks minimum. The demand is high and the suppliers are way behind on delivery.

Ya, it's not a big deal I knew it would take a while, my dealer told me it's the windoors that are probably holding it up.

I replaced a slider with a windoor on my 180, the windoor from my local leer dealer was just under 300 after tax.

@TimberTiger was it a straight slider? I'm thinking of a windoor with a slider section. $300 seems probable since the frame would need to be replaced as well vs. (I would assume) I only need the glass replaced.

Have loved my snug top, but I need the open bed more than the need for enclosure! so im selling it. Been a lot of fun to have it on and I built a carpet kit and slept back there for camping many times. The 2 tone look grew on me too.0DEBC82D-F5C7-48B5-BB10-F9D386025AE3_1_201_a.jpg

I had just a regular screened slider, the windoor i got is a plain windoor, no slider or vent or anything. It came with the new frame. I would assume if youre swapping a windoor for a vented windoor you wouldn't need to replace the frame.

If anyone in the PNW needs a slider window for a leer 180 i've got one!

I ordered my Leer 180 on March 22nd, just had it installed last week. So you probably have at least another month of waiting.

Just got it and haven't de-stickered anything yet, but really happy with the Leer 100XR.

Options: headliner, sliding front window, flush rear glass + center lock, framed side windows + screens, extra weatherstripping in the tailgate. I didn't want them to do any electrical accessories like power outlets or lights and thought they were only connecting the 3rd brake light, but they also added a LED dome light (not sure where/how it's connected yet) so I hope that doesn't cause any issues down the road.

The color is eeeeeever so slightly off (tiny bit bluer) but only really noticeable at twilight or with the camera in HDR mode. It took 8 weeks to get it so not worth making a fuss about it.

    zdmlN44AivbNH0W3dWsnjdjoU3Rdy0YkwM5BRMJA_75a1da9cb5b63fd54a238075aacd17388f78dec9.jpg

Got a clear bladder thing so we can join up the bed with the cab and run the AC/vent fan to help keep dust out of the back when we go out west. Normally I will take it out since it impedes visibility pretty severely.

Looks good! Does the light inside only work when you’ve got the headlights on? If so, then they spliced into your tail lights. If you have the 7 pin trailer connection, then they tied into that. The inside light will work without the headlights on. Either way, you shouldn’t have any issues in the long run. Did you get the clear bladder thing from the same shop? I need to get one of those!

It works all the time regardless of the headlights, and I have a 4-cylinder without the trailer wiring so I was curious what they used. I think the '21s are prewired for the OEM LED bed lights so maybe there? I will look at it this weekend just to see if there's anything sketchy that needs to be sealed better.

Yeah, I got it from the camper shell store. It's the "BT2000" for compact trucks.
