Awesome. Thanks for the response and info.
I’ve definitely seen a lot of people selling leaf packs and AALs. I’ll keep an eye out.
I just didn’t consider installing an AAL with the stock shocks until I saw your post.
I never measured how much sag I got with the camper shell installed. But I think it’s more than I thought after looking at yours.
I wouldn’t mind getting that little bit of lift back in the rear, and get back that stock rake. This might be the next cheap mod until I put a proper lift on it.
    Thanks again!

I replaced the tired OEM leaves with a Wheelers set and tossed the old ones in the bushes. Fast forward 8+ years and these started sagging. So I measured both sets and separated them. Reassembled with leaves from each set and the overloads removed so now I have a nice comfy homemade Dakar type setup. They carry my topper and upwards of 250# of gear easily. Just a heads up if you wanted to try a little home brew magic. I did end up waiting for an Amazon order of rear 5100s to get the lengths right because I had no clue where it’d end up at.

A little of this and a little of that.
I picked up a used ARE cap/topper/shell and had it painted to match my 2013 regular cab truck.

Is that an actual regular cab shell? I have a 2011, but was only able to find a shell off an AC. Looks great!

It does fit, although I pulled it back as far as possible since it rubbed against the top of the window frame and was annoyingly squeaky…plus this one was off of an 08 radiant red

Thank you. Yes, its an actual regular cab shell for the RC Tacoma and fits correctly. The guy I bought it from used to have an '08 RC Tacoma.

Had an ARE midrise on my 5 sp manual standard cab also.. miss that truck. Took me many years to find a used topper designed for the stand cab contours and the one I found was slightly sun faded but still served the purpose. Surprisingly I found it in a salvage yard a few hundred miles away by using a national search database of salvage yard parts for my Tacoma.

winter tires on it in this pic

Beautiful. I just sold my 19 AS 4cyl for $30,000. $6,000 more than what I paid new. The money is out there and don't discount the dealers. They are desperate.

man them RSI’s look super well made and durable, very practical too! I just can’t get over the look! Maybe if they were color matched it would be a bit better.

Yeah the look is definitely a personal preference. With the white taco I personally didn’t like the color match as it made my truck look like a large white blob. I like the contrast as it keeps the truck look
