I started using butyl tape for anything bed waterproofing related and it's been a solid solution.
Tried using silicon, rtv sealant, etc before.
So far, butyl tape = win.

Haha dude I feel ya. I went back and forth sooo many times and saved probably 50 pics of each option to make sure I spent the money on the right topper. Its a tough decision for sure, but I think any topper is better than no topper! I do love the streamlined look of the cab hi, but the extra head room of the mid-rise is pretty nice

 

Im exactly in your position right now, what did you end up getting?

 

I have the same shell on my 2015. I love it!

What is the measured height from the bed floor to the ceiling of the topper?

 

Yeah they are called "windoors". Super useful premium feature that I would definitely recommend getting. They give you use access to load/unload or move things around the bed without crawling into it.

 

Not sure off top of my head and my truck's in the shop currently, but will post some measurements when I get it from the shop.
