another thing that is great about the mid-rise is the opening height under the rear window. Mine (cab-high snugtop rebel) is 31" floor to shell opening and 37" floor to shell ceiling.

Propane marine heater inside the camper. Vents out through the stack. The tank could be just stored there or plumbed into the shell.

Looks like it just came off the showroom floor. Not even a license plate.

I like the bed braces you have. They're clean, nothing that someone can trip over

Its from Total Chaos. The bottom has a little lip that I guess someone could trip over but it's covered by the Bed Rug now.

Is anyone's shell rubbing on any part of the bedsides? I noticed mine has rubbed a little bit of clear coat off of the bedside (maybe half the size of an eraser tip)?

It doesn't make contact when its static, so I'm guessing its from driving/ off-roading?

I noticed the shell on my little brother's F-150 is rubbing his bedside, but I haven't noticed anything on my truck so far.

I put helicopter tape along the edge of my tailgate, because I noticed it rubbed some clear coat off there. It also rubs on the back corners next to the tailgate. I haven't noticed any other areas. This was when I had a Snugtop Rebel. No rubbing since I got a GFC topper though.

The GFC doesn't overhang the bed sides right? I'm thinking about getting a Topo Topper for this reason and to give me the ability to use the bed as a "garage" for longer MTB trips next year.

No it does not overhang. It sits "on top" of your rails.

FINALLY found a hard topper on the used market. 4ARE CX. Perfect fit despite the color mismatch. Thinking of maybe a black n white digital camo wrap on it? We'll see. Either way, thrilled to be among you elites!

I would love to post a pic of my shell but I'm only on week 4 of what the dealer said would be 7 to 10 weeks (Closer to ten).

Guys with ARE, specifically MX. Can the side windows be switched? I'm looking at a used shell and it has a windoor on the passenger side and a slider window on the driver side. I'd like to switch them if possible, I'm just not sure if the design of the windows corresponds to either side. Hard to tell from the pictures.

if your windows are perfectly rectangular (mine are not, they have a 15 degree angle
to the front and rear 'sides' of each window, more of a parallelogram than a rectangle), the other challenge is that usually the slider windows are oriented in such a way that the fixed part is towards the cab, and slider part that opens is towards the tailgate. it might look weird if that was reversed, but then again 80% of people wouldn't know what.

Leer 100XQ w/ power lock, sliding/removable front window, and interior light wired to bed/cargo lights. I originally had intentions on getting a 100XL, but with rebates and incentives was able to get the XQ for about the same price. Really happy with how it turned out.
