Their midrise shell. Similar to Leer 180, ARE MX and Snugtop Hiliner.
Love the shell and has kept us dry every time we camp and sleep in the back. Also feels nice to be able to sit up (almost) completely in the bed.

I swear every time I go in this thread and see a mid rise I think back that I should’ve pulled the trigger on one vs cab height. Looks great!!

    You should.

I swapped my cab high ARE (seen in my avatar) for a SnugTop HiLiner Sport. Lost money on selling the ARE, but very happy with the taller shell.

I’ll second this. Went midrise with this Tacoma vs my 2nd gen. Won’t ever go back to a cab height. I will say the look of the are Mx isn’t my favorite but the room is amazing lol. I’m getting a box built out this week for the rear. I’ll post some pics of how much room I have left

I got a Prinsu rack with one of the reasons being it evened out the roof line a bit on the ARE MX. I do use the Prinsu but if I am being honest, the roof line was at least 25% of my logic for getting it.

Wish I could go with CabHi but I need the extra height inside and at the hatch to get My bikes in and out vertically.

I hate messing with bikes in my cab high shells. It’s misery.

Definitely looking to grab a taller shell too. I've got a tool box on the left hand side and if I leave it open I know I'm going to cut my face open when I walk into the corner that's at eye level.

Just scored this LEER (not sure of the exact model) on fb last night. Correct color and 15 minutes from my house. For $700 I don't think I did too bad.

    That's a hell of a deal!

Leer 100R (I think). Picked up used in July with a fresh matte black paint job for $1,200 on local marketplace.

Long-time forum creeper, first post. Just wanna say thanks for everything you've all helped me a lot since getting my truck last year.

Picked up this Century Ultra S on Marketplace for $1600 yesterday. Almost zero long bed, 3rd gen shells in my area since I started looking a year ago.

Did it come with the rack as well? That's a good deal on a nice shell.
