... it was $37.60 out the door with taxes and online bidding fee.

I have a question for those that know Leer's product line: Any idea which topper this is?

It fits 2005+ short bed Tacos, has two handles on the back window, and sliding screened side windows. There's a slider in the front as well.

    The interior is uncovered fiberglass.

It looks like it has a sheet of plywood glassed into the ceiling (glasswork matches the rest of the interior, so I assume it is original). Is this the way all of them are built, or is it reinforced for a rack or rail system?

    Thanks!

... but it probably will someday. I don't think I can fit 15' kayaks in the back.

I was asking because if it has a reinforced roof , those models are the RCC series and yours sounds like a 100 series

My guess is that it's the low end 100R or similar, but I wasn't sure if they all had a sheet of plywood sandwiched in the roof or not.

Is there a serial # plate on the driver's side just inside the back hatch? Maybe call Leer, give that to them and see what they say. They are a bitch to find a phone number for, but I came up with this one for finding the nearest dealer: 800-967-5337.

How do you guys close your truck caps from the inside? I just had a Leer XR installed but for the life of me I can't figure out how to close the rear window from the inside? Was there a handle option I missed out on?

The SnugTop I have came with the ability to lock yourself inside (prevent anyone surprising you!). It has a handle with a push-button release system.

The Dealer advised that SnugTop was the only one with such a system. Seems odd, though, that if you close the hatch on your Leer you would be trapped...

I has a leer, just grab and close. To open, I just pull the cable to the latch.

No way I could can get trapped in my Leer cap with it closed. I'm the only one with the keys to lock the outside. Turning the latches from the inside is easy. I sleep with the tailgate down and Leer open. Quite comfortable and refreshing. Heavy rain is the only thing that would change that.

Thanks - I feel like a complete moron. I spent so much money outfitting this stupid thing with every option I expected to say a magic word and open for me... it never occurred to me to twist the cable manually.
