With my hoping that I can make the 5 gallon pail last up to 60 fill ups, I don’t think it makes sense to buy more. At the lowest maybe 40 fill ups, it will still take almost 2 years to go through a pail. I don’t think I can justify buying enough for 10 years at that rate. Not sure how fast I will really go through it though

I dont doubt that at all, depending on your application and Mix you can get alot of miles out of 5 gal. my only point was that methanol wont just pull water from nowhere. Sealed and stored properly, it will last

Really depending on your foot how much you need and your nozzle size.
1# nozzle will go 2000 miles, #2 nozzle about 1200 miles #3 nozzle 700 miles.
#5 nozzle 300 miles per gallon about give or take. The 5 gallon pails are sealed so no contamination will happen.
Headers are one of the most expensive pain in the xxx projects with a small return.
I picked up 8 or 9 hp and 12 torque on the Dyno FYI at the high rpm range.
Headers was one of my last engine upgrades because I’ve run out of options besides the haltech that I will order this week,
    I don’t want a turbo because I want the reliability because I drive 25-30k a year

Put all these little mods together and it slowly adds up

I didn't realize you had headers, which set do you have? You picked up 8hp and 12 torque from the headers?

I have a new set of TRD's in the box, however they're for a 98 T100 and I think 98 Tacoma.. For a true bolt on affair, I would need the lower Y-pipe for the 01-04..

Yes, that was my Dyno difference before and after.
    Doug Thorley,
Then added dual exhaust from cat back 2.25” tubing per side which added a little more

Looks good.. I have a very slight ping at a very specific load value, I can avoid this area but I believe the headers would get rid of it..

Not adding the headers so much as for hp and tq but more for the look and the heat kept away from the block. It will be easier on the engine and free hp, just like getting a lighter water pump pulley, frees up hp and makes it easier on the engine. Also prepares me for the final version of the engine with fic, meth, 2.1",headers/full exhaust, and hopefully 310 at the wheels (might be a tiny bit high) then eventually a turbo, but thats for another time. I am limited on buying and installing a meth kit for the time being for other reasons not mentioned, so injectors, pump, pulley, and headers first.

Still not a bolt on affair (unless its different for 01-04), my cat pipe has 3 bolt flange, and the trd headers has a 2 bolt flange on the y pipe. I dont know if I am going to look for a set of gutted cats (Allegedly) or find a new set of cats or what to run them. I want to be able to run the truck back to stock if I have to, and I really dont want to burn up the stock cats as theyre expensive. Really dont want to modify the trd headers either.

You can always get a test pipe to replace the cats temporarily if you want.
    LCE sells some of them,
Yup turbo would be fun, I really need the reliability tho because of the miles I drive, so maxing out the supercharger is my road at 5300 feet.

Sounds like you jumped on the same deal I did a few years ago when the NOS TRD headers showed up on eBay..
Yes, to answer your question the Y Pipe is what made the headers unique to each model yr, there is a 3 bolt Y pipe for single and dual cat applications; only problem is they are no longer available.

Been curious if an earlier model 2 bolt flange single cat would work, been wanting to get rid of the second cat anyway. Doing this, I could keep the stock dual cat setup if I ever wanted to go back to stock.

Yeah, sooo many miles. Thinking I will figure something out for them. Worst case is I just use the ones I have now. I want to make them 2.5" though...

Suprisingly, I did not. I found a friend who put them up on the marketplace on tw in February and jumped on them. They are carb legal and I'm planning on getting the truck smooged this month so that I have 2 years to fix the leaky problems with them. erhaps I can find a early 1 cat 2 bolt flange or something of the sort to run.

What size nozzles come in Snow Sno-20010? My kit came with a 4 gallon per hour nozzle and a 6 gallon per hour nozzle.
