So almost a year later and 38,000 added on the methanol kit and everything is running perfect,
A few hiccups were the #1 nozzle plugged up
after 10,000 miles so got a larger nozzel and the #2 nozzle plugged up after 28,000 miles,
So probably plan on replacing the nozzles accordingly.
    Nozzles are ONLY 20.00
You will notice that your not using as much
methanol as normal as your first indication
    of the nozzle getting plugged.
    Takes 5 minutes to replace

Decided to clean my throttle body since it’s been 100,000 since my last cleaning.

Well guess what, the added benefit of a methonal kit is the methonal keeps your throttle body spic and span with zero carbon or gunk,
NO more throttle body cleaning for me anymore
One more positive benefit from this kit, wish I could see how clean the valve are now.

here is a photo of my throttle body and was cleaned last over 100,000 miles ago.

Got to love the methonal advantages,
Beside removing all the carbon from the throttle body it also cleans the valves from all carbon too.
Had the supercharger off for some work to it and all the valves are super clean of any carbon.

Added the methanol kit following @1997tacomav6 build. So far so good. Running #1 nozzle. Still get slight ping. Will exchange it for the #2 nozzle and run it like this for some time.

What AFR GUAGE did you install.

I have to get one sooner than later,
I just am not hip on having two gauges on my side post.
    But might have too.

Ideally I wanted a single guage with the combo setup with a mechanical boost needle and digital AFR output, BUT could not find one

I bought the aem gauge. I also did not wanted to get more than 1 pod on the pillar, but had no choice. This is also one of the reasons why I went with the controller for the meth kit. I'll only have 2 gauges plus the scangauge

All u Sc charged 5VZ guys can chime in with some advice. Been hitting a few threads lookin for advice and am moving forward with more ideas to resolve issues... right now I'm about to go meth/water with some other changes. Need advice: I've got the 2003 SC Tacoma I'm trying to to work out with a tune and get rid of the typical TRD SC BS on the 5VZ 3.4. You all seem to have your heads head wrapped around all this SC/5VZ stuff and need some quick thumbs up or thumbs down advice. Got the Supra 318cc injectors, x2 colder plugs, cooler thermostat, JBA headers, new AEM AFR gauge installed (Sunday) and URD FTC1-017D piggyback in there for tuning (just started tuning). having some issues that need to go way. I'm learning alot about this all and now about about meth/water injection. Even though I have the larger injectors, I'm just about to pull the trigger and get the Devils Own 2 bar kit and install that along with a new 2.2" URD pulley sitting here on my desk at the moment for the SC... and then try to tune everything with the FTC1 to make it work. Should give me a little more boost with the pulley and meth without going crazy... should fix any AFR issues by using the FTC1... should be able to balance the added fuel from the 318cc injectors along with M/W with the FTC1... yes? I'm pretty new at this but learning a lot lately. I'm on the right track here?

...and with the bigger 318cc injectors in there... any idea what sixe nozzle to put in for the meth/water injection on the supercharger? is there some sort of "formula" for that?

With 318cc injectors and only the 2.2 pulley you probably will not need too large of a nozzel, maybe a 2 nozzle to start. You will have to tune the truck with all the other parts first and then add the methonal to cover the spread if it is running lean. The methonal will add the extra octane to keep your AFR numbers correct.
Going to a smaller pulley 2.1 or 2” the methonal will cover the AFR spread going up in nozzel size to a 3 nozzel or so. You will know what nozzel to use by trial and error using your AFR guage or doing a dyno run for exact numbers

X2 on what @1997tacomav6 says. I have been running the meth setup for approx 3 months and believe or not I have only filled the methanol tank once. I can go days without being I boost specially now that I switched jobs and drive mainly city.
My plans are to go with the aem fic 6 and boomslang adapter so I don't have to splice anything. The only problem is finding someone who can tune it. I have asked about 6 shops and nobody wants to touch it o_O. I don't know a squad about tuning honestly.

If there was an easy way to tune these ECU I would probably do the same thing but my truck is a daily
driver and need it totally reliable.
I have not found anyone in my area that will touch the ECU or knows how to tune it either correctly.
There’s probably 50 horses hidden in there with a correct modified tune.

Wish I knew how to tune as well. Mine is a daily driver as well. However I live 0.7 miles from work and even though the truck runs like crap.. it still gets me there and back. Not going fast and drive about 2 minutes but probably not good to be driving at all. I got some advice not long ago to check for vacuum issues. I know that could be a potential problem causing my issues and checked the lines best I could. Nothing readily apparent. Bought new tension clamps, I might get some new vacuum hoses anyway and switch it all out to make sure. Also going to check the by-pass boost valve that others claim cause problems as they age (mine is 14 years old). Here's another question for you supercharged guys: I seen and read about the how the vacuum lnes are suppose to be hooked up. I'm specifically wonder about the two, side-by-side connections on drivers side by the brake booster. TED diagram says brake booster gets connected to the rear nipple and evaporator to the front. However I've seen lots of pics of others having it the other way around. Which is correct... and does it really matter (those nipples look like they might share the same internal vacuum chamber). See attached pic
