    Stock....ish
I'm going to say no. I have a 7ft garage door and I'm at 2.5in lift on 35's. I barely fit.

As far as getting a truck, I would get something that hasn't been touched. Yeah it may look "cool" but isn't worth it in my eyes. Those shocks look like they are stock, not sure of the year but they look like they have some wear. The tie-rod ends are leaking so you'll have to replace those. To each their own.

I recommend taking it for a test drive and see how you like it. Hopefully its regeared for the tires.

Ya I should have known to not ask an opinion question like that. Let me rephrase it.

Would you recommend me buying stock and lift myself or buy a lifted one? Buying others projects makes me nervous sometimes cause if the unknown

If you are mechanically inclined I would buy stock and do it yourself, the way you want vs what someone else did. If not you could buy something lifted but that could have its own issues. If you buy something lifted you are probably paying more for it because it looks cool. I see it all the time passing a dealership. They sell lifted trucks new/used for a huge markup.

I think @bullaculla did something to keep his inner fenders attached when he trimmed his flairs. He has a 2nd gen and pretty sure it has to be done at the time of trimming the flairs.

I knew someone will come up with something. If it doesn't rain this weekend I am going to play around with it to see if I can fit in the liners.

Would you run those Pro Comps in a 35? I was thinking of getting some.

Yep. I ran them in 285’s for a while too. I have no issues at all with them.

So true. Maybe for a donut spare.

Right on! They are priced well and I think I need to switch away from MTs with all the miles I'm doing.

Screwed into the fender with some relief cuts, flares cover it all up (after screws trimmed and rust prevented.) Then go in and fill with abs, silicone, etc..

This is the beginning after 2.5" cut on the fenders and flares..

I tried few different ways, but it wasn't coming out right. I have ordered a rivet tool and now the plan is to rivet in that 2'' piece of fender that was chopped off back on to the fender and see if that holds up well. The reason I want to do this way is because it already has factory tabs for the liners. So, weather permitting, I will try this weekend and see if it works. Will post pics after I am done.

What do you guys think about adding a 1" body lift to a 3" lift for more clearance? Thats what I'm thinking of doing when I buy my second 3rd gen next year. Anyone do this here?
