Here’s a couple more recent shots. I switched to Ray 10s since those last photos.

Just imagine everything inside your fender that is plastic....gone.
Then, take a sharp blade and cut a massive amount of your front bumper cover’s lowest part away.
Have fun. It only hurts for a few minutes.

right, but what about the areas of the wheel well that remain unprotected? i'm trying to do this chop but i'm seeing the variable options for covering it back up because where I live there will be constant debris, ice... snow going up in those areas...

I posted somewhere in this thread how i made some relief cuts in the liners and pulled them up after i cut the fenders. Eventually i got some plastic and just made some filler pieces and screwed into the original liner. Can't tell from the first picture but it hides behind that edge trim

Just trim to cover the cut edges. Mine is the one without the picture, same as the one below it's just for the thickness of the flare

Have any of you felt like you needed to change gearing? i have a 6" lift with general grabber 35's on 18's and i just made a cross country road trip on them..... one of the worse 2 days in a car. in 2k miles i think it went into 5,6th less than 10 times and i crushed 11mpg.

Yeah i had mine done a year ago. Helps with driveability quite a bit but it didn't really help out with mileage.

Total noob question here as i literally just picked up the truck tuesday but if i were to put 20's or even 22's with the 35's does that make any difference in accelerating, braking, feel driving?

Depends on the weight difference between your new and old setup for acceleration and braking. You'll possibly feel the biggest difference in driving. Less tire means rougher ride, less sidewall

Ive seen quite a few 35-20 combos that don't look ridiculous at all. In My opinion.....
