Which lift are majority of you guys running? My truck is coming in next month so I'm ordering parts now. I'm not new to tacomas, this will be my third one so I understand the work that goes in to fitting 35s just curious if there is a certain lift I should be looking at to make it easier.

No idea what I'm doing or talking about, but my setup is:
    • OME BP-51 front and rear
    • OME Dakar leaf pack
    • OME UCA
    • Cab mount relocate
This setup fits 35s without breaking a sweat. Although it's never really been stressed with something like turning the wheel while articulated, so it's possible the wheels could rub.

    Kings 2.5 lift kit
I would think any 2.5 inch lift would be the same in fitting 35s. Whether itd be kings, fox, bilsteins etc. What would make a difference in fitting 35s is having adjustable upper control arms where you can have the caster adjusted even more than just having the lowers pushed forward.

    My lift consists of:
    • Kings adjustable 2.5's
    • Icon delta upper control arms
    • Icon RXT option 2 leaf pack( gives about 2.25 inches of lift
    • 1 inch body lift from toytec, helps me articulate the tires off roading without having to trim the fenders.
    • Cab mount chop ( the 35s are barely scraping off the paint so i dont feel then rubbing, only happens when articulating while off roading

pretty much figured that’s the answer ya know potato potato. Probably going the fox route this time. Two previous trucks have been all ome but reading about the sag on the 888 coils has scared me away. Hopefully in a couple months I’ll have some pictures to post up. Thanks for the replies guys.

Kings, actually. Leaf packs are Icon RXT on option 3. Cab mount chop and alignment set to push the lower control arms as far fwd as possible.

Didn’t you originally have a fox setup? What made you change to kings? I’m asking because I’m torn between the two right now.

Nope, always been on Kings. Nothing wrong with Fox though, can't go wrong with either one.

Also, are most of you guys running 315/70/17 | 315/75/16 or straight up 35x10.5/12.5?

Just regular ol' extended travel Kings in back. I'll eventually go 14" with relocated mounts and +2 LT up front, but it's pretty capable already.

Regarding tire sizes, it pretty much comes down to 16" vs 17" wheels. 16s tend to be 315/75R16 while 17s are usually 35x12.5R17 (which I'm running). There are some exceptions though.

Overall tire size is pretty similar between the two and actual size differences are mostly down to manufacturers. For example BFGs tend to run small while Toyos and Yokos run truer to size.

Is that the Demello front bumper? Did you have to bend the tabs to get your lightbar to fit? I've noticed a few trucks in this thread show the light bar recessed which is the same as mine. I couldn't get it to fit flush with the cutout.
