Hey Night - what's your thoughts on the head unit? Are you happy with the sound? How's the Navi?
    Thanks!

I'm in love with the headunit and the buttons on the side is well worth some screen space. For driving 4 speakers and the stock sub for now it has amazing sound just from the headunit and it can be adjusted how ever you want for bass and treble as well as having a more advanced equalizer. Navigation is really good and it has some cool features like 3d buildings, warning sides, speed limits and excellent highway navigation.

Overall I love the head unit and can't wait to get my amp and stealthbox installed.

If I get a double din and I have a double din face will it fit right in or will I need to make some sort of adjustment to it?

Double Din fits just fine in our trucks, maybe even easier to install than single din.

Replaced the stock stereo with a Sony CDX-GT610Ui. Sound is 110% better! Not too hard of an install. Got the mounting kit and wiring harness through Crutchfield.

I have the same deck and it doesn't have anything for Pandora.. Did you upgrade the firmware or something? Or did it come with it when you bought the bluetooth streaming kit for it?

idk. i think it it’s own thing:notsure: because i was reading something and said there was not many apps out for it yet(that was about a month ago, and if i remember right there was like 15 apps) so i kinda got the imprecation that it’s not apple or android. but i hear some of the apple apps will work. now idk about android maybe some of them will work. but i don’t remember them just because i don’t care as much. i have iphone. so i would look at crutchfield and see. also if you get one get from them. you get everything you need face plate and wiring kit for what price is listed. also the great customer service.

I like it. Very easy to navigate. you can use back up camera. it has video input as well as icon for it on home screen. Check out you tube for a demo. Also take a look on Amazon, I was able to get everything for less than crutch. if you decide to go this route let me know. I can shoot you a couple links of the items i bought to get this up and running. if you get this don't buy the overpriced cable that let you use app mode. it is like 20 on amazon vs 70 on crutch.

I don't know why people put these vids up. If we don't have the same truck with the same audio setup (including any sound dampening) and the same tune settings as well as the same source file/audio track we won't be able to tell what YOUR system sounds like. All we'll get from it is what a crappy recording of your system sounds like on our crappy (or even decent) PC speakers. These videos are absolutely useless for demonstrating your system's sound qualities.

Sorry for the bluntness, but I've seen it so many times I think it needed to be said.
