Looks like a sick system! I can't wait to get started on mine if they ever come out with the 12 dash kit. I'll be going with a kenwood head as well. Had one in my old S-10 and loved it. *jealous*

Looks great! I have that exact same deck on the way, I was originally gonna go with a din, but I liked the way the double din looked, and the jvc got great reviews and was only $130 on ebay. Did you use the metra dash kit? How do you like the quality of the deck? Im also installing some 8" subs :D

I wish there was a way to rig up a system like the Infinitys (I think). They have a camera on each side of the car and the display gives a birds eye view of the car and everything around it...oh well.

I think it would be useful to hook up a camera on the front of the truck to the HU and keep the rear view cam in the mirror. I have trouble pulling close to cars in parking spots or for parallel parking and stuff like that...I go til I'm uncomfortable and then go a little further and I'm still usually about a foot and a half or more away from anything.

    Anyone done this?

Hey man, I have this same unit and ever since I installed it a few weeks ago the music fades in and out slightly, did you have that problem? Anyone know of any ways to fix it?

I installed it on the JBL system and it fades in and out no matter what it is on, radio, ipod, etc. Hope someone can help me out with this cause it's almost to the point that I want just put the stock unit back in. And in case I get it fixed and keep it, anyone know how to change the background to a different picture or if it's even capable of doing so?

Yes you are right. Because i get the cameras Dirt cheap, im planning on doing that. On my Tundra forums many people have done that too. Its on my HU since it has AV input for camera and 2 extras. So the whole idea is to put your front camera through a switch to the other AV inputs. Everytime you will turn the switch on, it will show you the front and when you put the truck in reverse, it will switch to the rear camera. Will keep you guys updated.

it should work. Not sure why it isint. It must be something to do with settings When i installed the stereo, on initial set up, i chose ipod instead of AV and i couldnt hear any sound. THen reading on a forum i realized that the setting should be of AV input not ipod and it worked. Maybe that, im not sure. I will try my pandora through my android and see if it works or not. I have a JVC HU aswell.

Lower it is the less likely to be seen by wandering eyes. I like it lower.
